SBIG no longer provides parts support for their ST-8300 cameras, at least not the desiccant packs. They recommend using molecular sieve desiccant packs, but those are very expensive due to the requirement to purchase in bulk ($90 for 3000). So I was in the market for something a little more affordable when I stumbled on this product; it fits the camera chamber and seems to do the job just fine. Maybe not as good as the recommended desiccant but good enough, and certainly worlds better than nothing. There are enough packs in this package to replace as frequently as needed to maintain optimal chamber dryness. Boo to SBIG for no longer selling their recommended replacement packs for the ST-8300 line of CCD cameras, and yay to Wisesorb for providing an affordable alternative.

I only tried it in 1 salt shaker so far and it worked fine. Made my salt shareable again.

I wish I bought these sooner! I use them in my freeze dried candy. They are so easy to use and the amount you get for the price is a great deal. They have no smell they are durable in all my packages. They are great for the humidity in our area and has the capacity as well.

These are a must if you live in a humid climate as I do, and if you take pills too. I fill daily pill towers, and instructions for all of my multiple pills say to protect from light and moisture. The light protection is no problem, however the moisture was a problem, but not anymore. These dessicants are so small they fit into my tiniest weekly pill containers. My moisture problem has been solved.

These are great quality. And they actually have the amount they claim is there. Other brands I’ve purchased in past said 500 but 150-200 were always missing!! These are more expensive but they actually have the amount listed so 100% they are worth the money and the better quality is worth it as well. (yes we count them because we go through so quickly we keep track)

c'est super bon pour enlever l'humidité moi je les utilise dans mes caméra de chasse car quand il pleut souvent il ont tendance a embué et ça fait des vidéo embrouiller mais avec ça dedans c'est très bon
