The tape seems to work just fine, but it was supposed to be an inch wide. It comes up a little short of that. It is stretchy, but I tried to make sure I didn’t stretch it out while measuring. It wasn’t critical for my purposes that the width be exact. It’s not a big deal to me and I’m keeping it because it does exactly what I need it to do. However, if your project requires tape that is exactly an inch wide, you might want to check it before you unwrap it.

instructions say not to stretch when unrolling, impossible to do. it stretches just like electrical tape does. it is thick, not see through at all and is very sticky. used to put bottom stripping on our utility trailer, looks real nice, stays on, just think of it as electrical tape and not actual stripping tape and it will work fine. you will have to stretch it some to put it on to keep wrinkles and air bubbles out of it though.

The tape seems to have very nice adhesive but the color is very dull and when I put the red strip on my black trailer the black bled through due to the tin tape. It looked like crappy cheap tape once on the trailer so I removed it faster than it took to install.
