While the soundbar won't receive any Hi-fi awards for music playback, what it excels in it does very well. Which is movie and game audio. The best connection for the soundbar is through optical cable if you want to get the loudest and cleanest volume level. It is only through optical cable connection it becomes a magical little audio beast feast for your display. The bass is, in my opinion, clean, tight, relatively beefy and does not muddy vocals and highs, set with the music preset, ironically and voice enhance at default (0). The soundbar is attractively unassuming, as it should be. Focus should only be on the display. Again, those who complain about it not being loud enough are probably using a 3.5mm jack and should switch to optical connection. I can't stress that enough. Many computers and modern televisions come with a optical connection. If not, one can purchase an HDMI audio extractor that does. Then the sound will have the ability to go VERY loud and clean. I have the volume set to around 20 and no louder than 24 out of the 32 max volume. The soundbar sound quality is a no brainer purchase and a steal for the price.

My husband bought a very pricey sound bar and it sounded like crap, and then I found this little fella and it works phenomenally. Sound quality exceeds all expectations and we are thoroughly happy with this product. The price is so incredibly worth it and it's the perfect size for our tv stand. Easy to connect and use!

This sound bar suits my needs for a second TV very nicely. 1) it doesn't take up much room; 2) it does an excellent job in making speech understandable for this hearing impaired codger; 3) it's very solidly built and handsomely designed; 4) it's a terrific value at under $50. It does not have rich bass or wrap-around stereo, but it's far better than my TV speakers. I'm keeping it.

I bought a Wohome 2.1ch Small Sound Bars to replace a rechargeable Bluetooth speaker that I use in my basement for working out. Not having any experience with Wohome, I read reviews and decided to take a chance. I am very happy that I decided to purchase this speaker bar. Installation was very easy. The provided template was spot on. It includes mounting hardware, optical cable, remote control, an RCA cable. This unit is rated for 60 watts and the sound is great. This speaker bar connects to my workout equipment with ease (Ascent Trainer and Upright Bike). I was so pleased with this speaker bar in my workout area, I bought a second one for the TV in our family room. This speaker bar connects to the TV via the optical cable. The instruction for optical setup were easy to follow. This has improved the sound over the default TV speaker dramatically. Dialog is much clearer and the over sound is great. I would recommend this speaker bar.

The sound is fine, not great but for the price it’s decent. Better than the built in speakers for sure. I like the small size. My biggest complaint is that it doesn’t work with any other remotes; every other speaker I’ve had has connected with my firestick remote just fine and this one only will if you use a headphone jack.

The speaker arrived on time and well protected in the packaging. I have a 55" Samsung TV with rear firing speakers. Almost every TV show including the news is difficult to hear due to the background music and noises on these shows. Even with the sound set to "clear voice" the rear firing speakers are facing the wrong direction and we have to turn up the volume to hear dialog. Action movies are very difficult to hear. It is not just me as I notice everyone in the family turning up the volume. This forward facing speaker connects via BT or Optical. Very easy setup for either connection. I found the optical connection has no lag. The BT connection sometimes will have a lag.There are multiple settings to make the dialog easier to hear. Late night TV watching can be at a very low volume now and easy to hear. The sound is clear and quality not cheap and tinny.This speaker has improved the quality of our TV viewing. There is no more "turn it up, I can't hear it!" or "turn it down its too loud"!"

NOTE: This should actually be closer to 4.75 rating. It is THAT close to perfect.I love the sound quality. The Equalizer is basic, but effective. The setup was textbook Bluetooth pairing. I also tested the Optical cable and found it more than adequate. I purchased this so I could listen to audio books while going to sleep, so the display that shuts off after a couple of seconds was a beautiful detail in my battle against light pollution in the bedroom.The only fly in the ointment will not be a factor for 99% of you. I have a Logitech Harmony 650 universal remote, and the S100 Sound Bar would not pair with it. (My older Wohome S89 did). I'm being completely nitpicky, but I wanted to only have to fumble with one remote when I am half-asleep and wanting to shut down.

I use this in my fitness room. It can be difficult to hear dialogue over the sound of an elliptical, stationary bike, treadmill, rower erg, etc. This little dude packs enough punch. The price was right. I replaced a similarly priced unit from Majority that just stopped working out of the blue. The quality of the sound is nothing to write home about, but it gets loud enough to drown out the exercise equipment!!! It says that there is a woofer present, but this unit has no bass that I can notice.

The speaker performs really well for the price and it is more than enough for my little apartment living room tv. The sound is very pleasant and way better than the tv speaker.When I was having trouble reconnecting through Bluetooth after two months, the customer service quickly replied to me with the instruction to troubleshoot. Thankfully the problem resolved in a timely manner and I’m so pleased with the excellent customer care!

It works, but has sound quality which is consistent with a 16-inch sound bar. At the price it was being sold at, I was hoping for a slightly better sound quality.The sound bar does have multiple, selectable levels of speech clarification, which might be useful to people who have a hearing impediment, which I do not have.But, I have heard subwoofers which are smaller than this sound bar, and the frequency response of which carries further into the lower part of the spectrum. I would say that this sound bar does not reproduce any frequencies lower than 60 Hertz or so.Mind you, when a manufacturer does design a small subwoofer to reproduce frequencies below 60 Hertz well, the result is usually that the sub-bass is exaggerated in some way, and that the frequency response isn't uniform. The use of computers in their physical design has not completely solved that problem, to the best of my knowledge. So, one feature of this sound bar is, that over the frequencies which it does cover, its frequency response is quite uniform, which is a good thing. And, it has 3 equalizer settings that have nothing to do with the speech clarifier.One impressive feat of modern technology, is how much circuitry can be put on one small chip, and often at much less expense than what was customary during my childhood.Dirk

At first it worked OK. Not the kind of sound I expected but fine for the price. But then it has stopped working. No sound whatsoever. And, no, nothing had been moved or changed. It just didn't work. So, I moved it to another tv to test it and no tv sound just noise. Checked the setup per information and still no proper tv sound. Too late to return, for me. So, save your money and avoid this product.
