Ignore the size chart! The medium size was too small but the large size was perfect. The jacket is waterproof and warm without the heating element. But the heating element is great for the bitter cold weather

Love the jacket for the money. The heating elements are in the front, back and neck. You need to provide your own battery pack and the plug in is in the inside roomy pocket. The 3 different levels of heat are nice and you can turn the heat off if you get too warm.I was confused by the sizing chart. The measurements listed made me think I needed a smaller size than I normally wear. Since I normally would wear a large, I went with that choice thinking the jacket might be a little big based on the size chart. The large fit perfectly. A medium would have been too small. Order the size you normally wear.

I had to steam the jacket to get rid of the wrinkles caused by wrapping. I had let it hang for a few days to see if it would un-wrinkle by itself, but it needed the steamer. I did not iron it because of the material--maybe if a towel was put over the top, then the wrinkles could be taken out that way.Because this is a heat element jacket, I find the button to toggle it off/on inside the jacket to be very annoying. I have to unzip to do either on/off. Also, it is just that-all on or all off. Turn on, zip up-heat up-unzip, turn off-lose a little heat, zip-up, restart cycle.The battery pack is noticeably heavy on the left side. The outer pocket is also on the left side, so the weight distribution is off if my cell phone goes into that pocket. I kept it in the right-hand pocket and found the room for both hand and cell is tight. If I wanted my hands in my pockets for warmth, it wouldn't have been that great anyways because the heating element is towards the top angle of the opening, not in the center of the pockets.I found the sizing to be on the slim fit side of the charts: I am a small and though it fits okay, there is not much room for layering or heavy hoodies. The arms lengths are okay and there is room around the armpits.

All of my other 2XL jackets are large on me. I buy them that way so I can wear extra layers underneath. This one however barely fits with just a T-shirt on. That being said it is very warm.

Finally a short jacket that can keep my whole body warm on coldest days! And super light weight as well as fully lined inside with an intense heat capturing microfiber velvety material that also seems quite breathable. Most portable phone chargers fit in the inside pocket, and the heat works beautifully (yes.. I roasted in it.. Definitely do not need on until it is iced over outside!) This will be great as a hiking and running outdoor jacket or an every day for coldest weather. Hood comes off, and even that is fully lined so I definitely know this is designed to keep me warm!

I got this as an early winter present for my mom, who easily feels cold everywhere she goes. This jacket comes with heated feature both in the front and back, for 11 core body parts, including your neck, back, chest, abdomen, and waist, helping to maintain body warmth, promote blood circulation. This Jacket also came with body line curve, allowing people to dress down without having to look so chubby in the winter. Only down point is it didn't have any battery or powerbanks. I had to buy a power bank just so this could actually work. But overall, she really liked it, and usb port fits pretty much any power bank you can find. Point is, Mom likes it and it keeps her cozy. Definitely Recommend.
