The wider black band makes the hat look very stylish. It's comfortable, blocks the sun from beating on my cheeks and into my sensitive eyes. The adjustable band is velcro and easily adjustable. Not as comfy as a similar hat I bought here on Amazon that had a spandex adjustable band...but the way this hat is cut and shaped is a bit more stylish.

I bought this hat to wear while working in the yard and hanging out by the pool. I am fair-skined and burn easily so wanted something that would really protect my face, neck etc. This hat did not disappoint! The bill is larger than average hats giving a bit more protection from the sun. I love that I can pull my hair up off my neck because it is a visor. The only downside is that I was not able to wear it while driving to my friends house. It did seem to interfere with my peripheral vision enough that it was best not to wear it while driving. Other than that, I love! It also came with a cute little bag for storage and/or travel! I would recommend (or purchase again) for anyone looking for a visor that is light weight, comfortable and easy to take along for lounging.

It does not flap into your face at high winds and even has a chin strap you can add if you want. Protects my face when in the sun all day. The Velcro closure is long enough and very sturdy.

I still have my first one, worn daily 6 months of the year for a few years. Looks perfect except for the tinted sunscreen that eventually gets on the inner band. Can spot clean it, no problem.I just purchased another one to have for spring/summer next year. Very comfortable and good quality. It arrived very quickly as promised. I’ll be enjoying both for a long while.

Although it is a very stylish hat and the adjustable velcro strap makes it very comfortable, I highly doubt its SPF 50 function and the ability to block uv light. The brim is wide but the straw is not dense enough and you can see from my picture the light beams easily travels through. It might be a good casual hat but definitely not enough for uv protection. Two stars for the style, one more for the little cute carry bag it comes with.

I'm so happy I stumbled upon this product on Amazon. I have been searching for one in many sites.People, this is the ultimate.... the coverage is very good and fits superbly well.The straw material, black fabric & the velcro is of good quality too...The straw material is not a thick one but provides shade for 3/4 of your face and no strain to your eyes even if you are not wearing sun glasses, so people concerned about TAN should apply a good sunscreen if exposed to the sun for a long time Some sun visors that I have used earlier used to lift up when car vrooms but with this I feel so confident that it's going to stay put.The bird enthusiast in me, has this habit of looking up the trees when any bird chirps , I'm able to do that too without keeping my hand on the visor for fear of it sliding away

I am not sure why this visor has so many good reviews. The shape is not good - kinks that cannot be removed and it doesn’t fit well at all. There were also studs in the back which are not in the photo. I was expecting a softer fabric around the head. It’s not a sweatband.
