This is one thick, soft, warm, and gorgeous scarf. It is really a winner.I just spent ten days chaperoning a school trip to Italy, and this is the one scarf I took with me. I got so many compliments and jealous comments.First, it's wider than most standard scarves, and is thick enough to use as a narrow blanket, which I did. We stayed in one really substandard youth hostel that didn't have enough bedding, and this scarf was a great extra blanket.I also used it to keep warm as we hoofed it around Venice, Florence, and Rome. The weather was really variable while we were there, and this scarf went from my backpack, to my neck, to around my shoulders, to babushka-style around my head, neck, and shoulders. It kept me exactly the temperature I needed to be.It's also simply beautiful. The two sides go with everything.I really, really love this scarf.
