I used this as a cover up during my wedding for my tattoos in the church ceremony. I thought it was absolutely stunning and loved it so much!PROS: The style is very beautiful. It felt very sturdy, I did not fear at all that the button might be unclasped. It stayed in place quite well, and wasn't moving around, I never had to readjust it. The way that it is cut does not take away attention fully from the outfit underneath.CONS: It is very thin so not to be used for any sort of extra warmth. It still is see through (but I did get the white color). It does hold wrinkles very easily so be sure to steam it or keep it hung up and not folded for a few days before you use it.

It's very lightweight and the material feels really nice. The button and loop closure can be a little flimsy, so just be careful in taking it on and off.

Its really thin, that's ultimately the reason I returned it. but depending on the weather it might fit your needs. Looking for a shawl that will keep you warm this isn't it. Looking for a shawl that's not transparent, this is also not it.
