I'm usually a solid M in pants, even S at times. I get L if I want to make sure it's baggy comfy and the elastic isn't too tight around the waist cause who wants that when you're lounging? Well I got a L and it's too tight! The band is definitely more like a small. So size way up or find another one that isn't as rigid or uncomfortable. The fabric is silky feeling with no pilling in the wash. They're fine and comfy enough, but not so much in the waist band as it's stiff and smaller.

These joggers are so soft and comfortable. The fabric is thick and stretchy. They are made really well. The waist has an elastic band and an external drawstring. The legs have elastic at the bottoms. The pockets are deep and hold a lot. These are tapered and look fantastic on me. Being thicker than my other joggers, these are nice to wear on cool or cold days as they keep me nice and warm
