I don't have any complaints. They are just two blocks of wood designed to hold swords.

I am glad it’s made out of real wood and not plywood masked as real wood. It’s not made from anything special, light wood, but the stain, or paint, gives it a bit more character. It can house a sword in scabbard or a sword without scabbard/blade due to the indentations within the surface meant to hold a narrow object (sorry, poor explanation, English is not going that well today). Very nice is the fact that you can set these apart as long as needed. I have a full tower desktop and this is a perfect single sword stand to house on top. It really is as simple as it looks, but sometimes simple is good! No apparent downsides. Maybe small rubber feet could make it more stable, but that won’t be exactly historically accurate, depending on what is being displayed. I am perfectly happy with this purchase and might buy it again.

Very sturdy and well made. Really holds the sword well that I have on it. Couldn’t be happier

I have two sets of this. They work best with a non-gloss scabbard. One of my scabbard has clear coat that makes it difficult to balance in this holder as it tends to slide around.

Like that having two separate pieces allowed me to find best way to hold a heavy sword .

They're two blocks of wood. They look nice and are sized right. The bar wasn't super high for this, and it successfully holds a sword in a nice looking way. Mission accomplished.
