I discovered that my titanium stove operates at roughly twice the maximum operating temperature of the fan. I was about to return it until I hit on the idea of placing a baking pan upside down on my stove top and then placing the fan on the pan -- and it worked! (You may also need a couple of magnets to keep the fan from sliding off the pan) That said, the fan doesn't really push that much air, but it definitely helps spread the heat

used to distribute heat from wood burning stove - worked great! will be ordering a few more - great for off grid use to move heat around from wood and my propane stoves- well built- easy to use - low profile- have used many times of fans in the past this one has great air flow runs seemlessly- would definitely recommend this product to anyone who has a propane or wood stove

My family and I rely on a wood burning stove to heat our 1300sqft home on our homestead. I purchased this fan to circulate and disburse heat throughout the whole house, unfortunately that is not what I received from this product. The delivery and ordering process was good, product arrived without damage and was in new condition. The dual fan is easy to sit atop of a wood burning stove the thermostat that comes with it was just as easy to sit atop the stove. The fan worked as far as the propellers rotating and slight change in temperature with its use for about 18 days. Although I really never felt it circulated the heat flow enough to make a difference my kids said it felt warmer towards the back of the house. After 18 days the fan just stopped working nothing appeared to be missing or loose. The metal strip on the bottom which I believe is what starts the fans turning after desired temp is met seemed to fine as well. I thought maybe it needed a day off so we left it off a full 24hrs and it still just doesn’t work.The fans do not turn at all so who knows. It wasn’t a cheap mistake but lesson learned I’ll do more research on my next stove fan more than likely from Ace. But for now I have it as a paper weight debating on throwing it away since it hasn’t served a purpose.
