Instructions for Hanging
Gather Your Tools
To start, gather all of the necessary tools needed to hang your new surfboard racks. We suggest a drill with an extension for rack assembly and rack mounting. We also suggest a tape measure, stud finder and a pen or pencil for marking. A small, 1/16 size drill bit can be used to pre-drill the holes in the studs.
Put The Racks Together
Next, take the arm of the rack and place it in the cutout of the backing plate. Use the smaller screws to tighten the arm to the backing plate using the drill. The Koa Vibes logo should be facing up.
Pro Tip: Don't over-tighten backing plate to the arm. Snug is good enough.
Finds The Studs
Now it is time to position the racks. Locate the area where you want the racks displayed and use the stud finder to find a stud. If you cannot use a stud, drywall anchors are provided. Once a position is located for both racks, make a mark roughly at the desired height of the racks.
Pro Tip: If possible, mount both racks 50% of total board length apart for the most stability.
Screw The Racks In Place
Use the tape measure to measure the exact desired height for both racks so the racks are level. Finally, place the base of the rack to the mark making sure the rack looks square to the position. Finish by taking the longer screws and screwing the racks in firmly in place.

I’ve searching for a while for some wall racks to hang one of my longboards. I went with these as the design seemed minimal and looked like good quality. Also, they have a good install video that shows the product better than static images.I’m typically a skeptic when it comes to online purchases, but I will say these guys put some thought into these racks. From the packaging (appreciate the dad joke 😎🤙), hardware, and the racks themselves, I’m jazzed on how these turned out. The wood is solid on these and the fit and finished is well done. Definitely exceeded my expectations.Although I was able to mount my racks to the studs, the hardware they provided for potential Sheetrock install is good quality. You typically see the cheap wall anchors that never work, but these are the heavy duty anchors so that’s impressive.Also, didn’t know this at first, but these guys are giving some back to charity which I can always get behind! Sounds like the brand is named after their pup…Solid racks at a killer price! I’m planning to order a few more sets as gifts.

A quality product begins with thoughtful packaging. Besides the much needed father joke on the inside, we appreciate the well-designed padding to ensure the wood is best protected and in perfect condition. Hanging the racks in our son’s room was as easy as the video shows, especially with the provided hardware. We had his surfboard displayed within 10 minutes and are beyond pleased with the result. The packaging was well branded. Says they donate 2% of proceeds to charity for dogs. The wood feels sturdy. The product is well crafted. Stylish and modern for hanging large wooden hooks in my room. Overall, happy with this purchase!

I’ve tried a few different surf racks in my garage, it’s been difficult to find one that looks sleek and not dent my foamies from storing, or scratch my other boards. I wish this was the first one that I bought, so I didn’t have to try multiple types. Install instructions were detailed, and packaging was nice (even included a free joke under the box lid 🙂). Would totally recommend to people I know!

I purchased two of these. One for my snowboard, and one for my skis. They looks amazing and work great. Very strong. Also have holes on each, which allow me to hang my snowboarding jacket and helmet. 10/10, highly recommend. Easy to assemble :)

Be very careful when tightening the screws for the arms to attach to the base. If you torque down you will crack the arms. It’s holding a 6ft board above my kitchen sink wonderfully.
