Your cart is empty. This plywood is a functional grade material composed of birch from parts of Russia. The Baltic birch is graded as a B-BB, which means that one face, B, will be a whole face, no splices, have no patches (plugs that are used to cover defects) but may contain knot pattern or mineral streaks. The other face, BB, and the inner plies will contain patches and tight and not so tight knots. Baltic birch is solidly conceded to be the best plywood for use when scroll sawing. This pack of 11-7/8" x 11-7/8" sheets includes four 1/8" thick, two 1/4" thick, two 3/8" thick, and one 1/2" thick.

This product was just as advertised and actually even better than I expected. The wood surfaces were smooth and unblemished and best of all the boards themselves were completely flat and unwarped.

Wood by mail turns out to be better than I thought! These boards are perfectly flat, no bends or warps! Tey are square and very clean, good looking wood faces as well.

I ordered these plywood sheets because the ones I was using splintered and had voids. These sheets do have some of the oval corrective inserts, mainly on one side, occasionally on both. With some planning in placing the patterns, I can avoid cutting into them, and it has not been a major problem. The important thing, though, is that these sheets do not splinter or peel. I am very happy with the quality of the wood and the speed of delivery.

Woodcraft uses Amazon as a third party seller which means ir you have a problem, Amazon just has you contact the seller. Woodcraft adds $13.99 shipping for a box of useless plywood. Some is warped, some you can't tell which side is supposed to be good and some had sanding pigtails embedded in the wood. You pay shipping for a box of firewood OR pay that shipping again to send it back. The retail store won't take it either. If you buy from Woodcraft, be careful since they lack quality control and especially no customer service. Fifty Bucks down the drain!!!Ordered from Ocooch hardwoods and got a package of beautiful plywood, even saved some money!
