We were very pleased. The box was much better than we were expecting. We are going to bury it but it cis nice enough to display.

I was looking for something nice to put my Father's ashes in. This box is beautiful, easy to use, affordable and quality was great. Now I can honor him with a beautiful display.

I'll be honest, I don't intend to use these for cremains. I just love boxes. I perhaps MIGHT use these for super-secret stuff (if I ever get any) or jewels/gold/pirate treasure (which I am equally likely to ever get) (see #2 below), but they'll probably just be part of my DBC (decorative box collection). Yes, I'm a bit weird. They're much heavier than I anticipated, which I suppose is really important if you ARE going to use them for cremains - you don't want them easily knocked over or broken. I also went back and forth on whether or not a screwdriver was required to open the base - it lifted up a few millimeters, and I wasn't sure if my fingernails were keeping me from getting a good enough grip to open it or if it wasn't supposed to open that way. (I didn't feel like getting up to go check the website: You do need a screwdriver. The smaller boxes are inside the large box, by the way.)The only two downsides for me were:1. The lines of the engraving are rather rough-edged, and I can already see that they're going to attract dust like nobody's business. I've had this issue before with other boxes and knick-knacks made of this type of wood, and the only solution I've found so far is to apply thin coats of clear finish to the (well-cleaned!!) engraved spaces until it fills up the "raw" space, then carefully buff away any finish that made it to the surface. Takes a while, but it's kind of relaxing once you get into it.2. The ease with which the base lifted by those few millimeters, even when I wasn't able to get a good grip on it, might make me nervous about using it for anything super valuable or for cremains unless they were VERY well sealed within. It feels like it wouldn't take much for the wood of the screw holes to weaken or crack. Perhaps fitting them with some kind of anchors (glued in or secured in some other way) would be worth looking into at the manufacturing stage, or even after-market.

Came early and was well packed. The urn was exactly what they said it was. The cross was beautifully engraved. Will definitely order from them if the need should arise.

I recently purchased this Wooden Cremation Urn with the Tree of Life engraving, and it has truly exceeded my expectations. This urn is a beautiful, meaningful way to honor a loved one.Pros:Craftsmanship: The craftsmanship of this urn is outstanding. The wood feels solid and well-made, and the Tree of Life engraving is beautifully done. It’s subtle yet striking, adding a sense of peace and continuity that perfectly represents the connection to family and life.Elegant Design: The design is both simple and elegant, which allows it to blend nicely with a variety of memorial settings. It’s a dignified tribute, without being overly ornate.Size: The urn is the perfect size for a keepsake. It holds 18 cubic inches, which is just right for a small portion of cremated remains. I appreciated that the urn was a bit smaller, as I was looking for something more personal and fitting for a smaller portion.Durability: The material feels sturdy, and I have no doubt it will stand the test of time. It's made of real wood, which adds to its timeless appeal.Memorial Quality: It feels special and fitting for keeping the memory of a loved one close. I believe it will be something I treasure for many years.Cons:Size Limitation: If you’re looking for a full-size urn to hold all remains, this would not be suitable as it holds a smaller portion (18 cubic inches). But for keepsakes, it’s ideal.Overall, this urn was a perfect choice for honoring my loved one. It’s a lovely, personal, and meaningful way to keep their memory alive. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality, thoughtfully designed cremation urn.

This is a really nice urn. The pattern is detailed and the quality seems nice. I like that you have to unscrew the bottom to open is so that accidents aren't likely to happy.
