I have the three sizes of the hands.I wanted to attach the correct size in the Halloween skeleton, hand/wrist and arm bones, gloves that would attach to Bob the combat dummy's arms.Sadly they are heavy and drag the glove off.I know I can always duct tape them down.Oddly even loose and hanging they still offer the same chance to grab and twist. The fingers work well with a Yawara or anything similarly ridged.I understand that wood manufactured or cut in different climates may crack, I have two large dummy pieces that did that, but I don't think the hands being small will suffer that fate. All three were well worth the investment.

I can’t wait to get this into my math center! The hands are made of wood and seem to be a good sturdy quality. The fingers move back and forth, with no side to side movement. The wrist area completely swivels. The hands look to be of average size and are a great value! Not only can we use them for art purposes but we can use them to learn addition and subtraction to 10 and counting on! I love the versatility of this product! I can’t wait to see my littles learn with this product!

So much fun! Received em a half hour ago and we’ve been entertained since. Haven’t even opened the other two Amazon packages delivered at the same time. We saw some hands (right only) on display at a big Swedish store but never found the ones for sale. In hindsight, glad we didn’t. These are great quality and an exceptional value… AND they include LEFT HANDS TOO! Thumb is bent in slightly (helps with some things, hinders others). Fingers don’t spread. 12†size is about a medium adult hand. We plan to stain at least one. This will require some light sanding (wrists aren’t super smooth). Maybe we will paint at least one, too. So many uses. So many ideas. They definitely inspire creativity and smiles! Absolutely recommend!

I purchased both the left and right hands. It’s fun positioning the fingers for certain gestures. Makes for a great conversation piece!

If you see the thumb tucked in you find that it is rather deceptive. This model is not jointed to move like a thumb and the thumb is not placed to look right in any position but fully tucked in. As a result it looks nothing like a human thumb. Other than this, it's very well jointed, sturdy and a good size. I'll work around its issues.

I really like these wood model hands that hold any form you need to show off your product!

We bought these for my teenage daugter who loves to draw and sketch. She had told us hands were tricky to draw so we thought hand models would be the perfect thing to help her practice. But they're not anatomically correct-the thumbs only hinge where the first knuckle would be, so you really can't pose the hands in a realistic or lifelike way.

I purchase these model hands a lot and intergrade into my artwork. They’re quality is second to none and the price is perfect for the product.

They are very stiff and do not bend sideways at all. The two right hands can not even embrace for a shake.

We bought these for my daughter to use as reference when she's drawing hands. She can also use them for stop motion videos. When you first get them, they seem too small, but they are the correct measurements. Very well made and sturdy. The fingers move smoothly. You can can put them in any position that your own fingers can do.
