If you love wood grain and a beautiful finish, this wood ladle will not disappoint. I can easily see it gracing a Thanksgiving or Christmas table laden with food for the important people in your life. It is large enough to be kitchen useful yet pretty enough for display ........ add that it is fairly priced and you have something I can heartily recommend as a good buy.

This is a good quality product, but it definitely is more for aesthetic purposes. The ladle is straight bottomed, so it can’t scoop that much – on top of that, wood historically does not too well with heated substances without warping, so I’d recommend it primarily be used for room temp or cold products. That said, it is the perfect serving ladle for heavy salads (i.e., chickpea salad, broccoli salad, etc.), and I’ve gotten compliments on its appearance. The handle is ergonomic for good grip without being too long or bulky, and hand-washing this goes without any issues. Would recommend! Just keep its limitations in mind.
