I bought this salad bowl for a dinner party I was hosting and used it to serve a Mediterranean salad. The bowl was the perfect size and made serving the salad effortless. It complemented my wooden table beautifully. Highly recommend!

The appearance is really nice . It’s a beautiful wooden bowl set. Compliments the dinner table perfectly since we are a family who eats salads with most of our meals.

The bowl was made in India, and I could detect a wonderful scent of acacia wood immediately upon opening the bowl's box and packaging.The internal shipping box that held the bowl contained several pieces of Styrofoam as additional padding to make sure that the bowl didn’t become damaged during the shipping process.The bowl itself was placed inside a burlap bag for storage which was another thoughtful touch for making sure that the wood maintains its integrity. Additionally, the burlap bag came with a matching placemat for the bowl, to place under the bowl during service.The bowl is textured on the outside, which is helpful because it allows me to grip it more easily than if the external wood surface was as smooth as the interior. The salad servers were wrapped individually, and were the perfect size for tossing and serving the salad. I appreciated that there were divots on the salad servers to, again, help hold on to them as the wood itself is very finely sanded and coded.The bowl and servers were easy to clean with a warm, slightly-soapy cloth, and I ensured that I dried the the entire set with another microfiber cloth prior to placing the bowl into storage.The salad bowl came with an E-book that featured several recipes, and a charming and heartwarming story about celebrating how cooking unites people and creates wonderful traditions. I appreciated how the recipes featured in the book were traditional American recipes, but also had adaptations for modern diets (such as vegan and gluten-free alterations).The little extra touches in this bowl set, from the functionality of the bowl and utensils, to the storage and placement cloths, to the accompanying E-book? Demonstrate how this brand truly cares about crafting a thoughtful user experience for their customers.

I make salad with dinner every night, so you'd think I would already have a nice bowl like this, but I didn't. I love this bowl! It is the perfect size for my needs, and it is so pretty. The decorative "pattern" on the outside of the bowl completely takes the beauty of the wood up a notch! The bowl is thick and has some heft to it, this is not a cheap bowl by any means. The serving utensils are quite comfortable to use and look so nice with the bowl. But you don't need to use this for just salad. I plan to use this for many of my kitchen needs, but it will mostly be used as a salad bowl. It comes with a "placemat" but honestly, I'm not sure how much use I will get out of it. It's a thoughtful addition but not one that is particularly important. I oiled the set as soon as I got it (use a food-grade walnut oil or mineral oil) and I suggest you do the same, especially if you plan to use this for salad as sometimes dressings (depending on what you use) can stick to the bowl making it harder to clean. You do not want to wash this with water, you just want to wipe it clean with a damp cloth and oiling it will help to not only maintain the wood, but it will also make cleanup easier. I highly recommend doing this regularly as this is a bowl that deserves to be cared for!

Y'all! This is exactly the bowl I didn't even know I desperately needed for our kitchen! As a salad bowl, it is perfect if making a smaller overall salad (think "salad for two"). Perhaps it's because when we go, we go BIG with salad-making. The hand-held salad tongs were surprisingly ergonomic, as I'm accustomed to longer handled tossing accoutrements.The bowl itself has a lovely, earthy warmth that provides an element of texture and depth to our rather stark-white, modern, minimalist kitchen aesthetic. I appreciate the multipurpose size of this bowl, as it's great for storing hearty produce (think: sweet potatoes, onions, etc.) on the counter or for use as a fruit bowl.
