Bought these to replace our electric ones as I always had issues with the electric. I like having control of the grinding without having to tip to activate only to get more than I wanted. These look great in our wooden holder we also bought (and I reviewed) They work very well

Have been looking in stores for a product like this to no avail. My husband convinced me to look on the internet and was happy to find these. (No toxic chemicals or harmful coatings was also important to me).

I bought these March 11 of 2023. I do write reviews for my purchases, but I am kind of hit or miss. I put a lot of time and research into any purchase though, so I try to make as informed a purchase as possible.As the headline says Grinders are another beast entirely. I have had grinders that were more than $100 each that didn't last a month and I have had grinders that were under $50 that lasted over a year. In this particular case these grinders while sub $50 in price felt and worked as well as a $100 pair and lasted longer.The quality of the wood is every bit as good as more expensive grinders. The grind itself is phenomenal. But why I took a beat and wrote a review a little over a year after purchase is SERVICE. The Salt Grinder stopped working. I mean at all. At first it seemed like maybe the grinder itself had separated so I tapped the disc back into place with the end of a fork and it started working again. Then about two weeks after that it just stopped working permanently and no amount of tapping it or adjusting the grind or anything will change that.So, I thought I would reach out to the seller, fully prepared for them to tell me the warranty was 90 days or a even a year. Especially at this price point. And while it would have not upset me at that point I would have been back on the hunt for another grinder. And given that this one failed I would likely go hunting with another vendor.But wait that didn't happen. The vendor reached out to me within 30 minutes of my message to customer service and offered to get a replacement out to me ASAP. No discussion of warranty length or terms. No anything other than please send us your address and we will take care of your issue.I was so gobsmacked that I had to go back and check to see just how long I have been an Amazon customer. The answer is June 1st, 2005. And in all that time I have had good service with Amazon and their sellers. But I have not had service like this. So, while grinders are as much art as science in selecting them for your kitchen, if you have lasted this long in my review, I implore you to give these a try. You won't be disappointed.Follow up to my review. It has only been two days since I contacted the seller for help on this issue, I already have the new set in hand. I cannot tell you what a wonderful experience this has been, and the product is a great product to begin with. The amazing service after the sale just cements that opinion for me.

My son was super excited about this salt & pepper milk set. The wood look is very appealing, the sleek design compliments his aesthetic, and they work wonderfully!

I almost never write one star reviews but this product had to be thrown away. I received them for Christmas and I thought they were very nice looking set, and they are, however, shortly after filling them and placing on my kitchen dinette, I noticed termite droppings. I cleaned them from the table not knowing where they came from. I was thinking from the kitchen ceiling. After cleaning up the mess a day or so later the droppings appeared again. That’s when I began thinking it could be coming from the S&P shakers since they are wood. I decided to put them in a ziplock bag to see what would happen. I don’t know if the termites suffocated in the bag, but I didn’t see any droppings in the bag and there were also no droppings on the table. I took them out of the bag and noticed the metal grinder at bottom of the salt grinder had rusted! That was the end owning this set as I threw them away. I have never again seen any termite droppings. Unfortunately because of this experience I do not recommend. This all took place in Jan 2024.

I dislike that it leaves salt and pepper on the counter every time it’s used or moved. The buttons are not ideal for adjusting the texture. They loosen continuously. Definitely not worth the money although they look nice. I wouldn’t recommend this product

The shakers were beautiful however they weren’t initialled with S and P making it a pain to use. Retuned them which was too bad
