I feel this spoon was worth the money and was not bad priced. The handle is long enough for putting into pots and not risking getting burnt it’s comfortable. It’s a thicker spoon but not to thick to affect its function like some other spoons I have had. Its shape is perfect for serving. Very sturdy. I use this spoon daily since purchasing when I’m cooking. I put some food grade mineral oil on it when I received it and it’s holding up great. No signs of splinting or color fading. Has a nice shine to it. It does clean up very easily.

I will preface by saying that I really have never spent much money (if any money at all) on kitchen utensils. I sort of found it silly. BUT I get it now. I know this isn't like... break the bank expensive or anything, but I needed a wooden spoon and I didn't want a multi-pack (I have this thing about clutter). OK enough about me... onto the spoon. I never thought I could love a wooden spoon this much, but here we are! This wooden spoon is beautifully crafted, incredibly sturdy, and feels amazing in my hand. The grip is comfortable, the design is practical, and it works perfectly when cooking. Plus, it’s heat-resistant, so no worrying about it warping or cracking. Loved our smaller old one and needed a new, high quality, good sized, non plastic spoon for sauté, stir fry, soups and stews. This spoon does everything well. Solid, safe and perfectly shaped for all panned pot work. Love it!

It's shape and size make it very versatile; it can stir, flip, scrape, spoon. It's my go-to tool now. Also, it's very smooth and fine grained and came coated with something that hopefully is not toxic. So far so good!
