I have not tried all the woodracks out there but I've had a few and this so far is the best one we have found. Sturdy, easy to put together and they last. They don't rust, they look nice and the 1/4 cover is very functional and easy to use. We live in Alaska and get a lot of snow. The cover keeps the snow off the wood at the same letting the wood breathe and dry. The elastic at the post ends all you to scoot the cover lower and lower as you consume the wood, and the velcro allows you to pull the flap up to grab wood and then attaches right back down. We have sustained 75mph winds without the covers blowing off too. The spacing of the rack rails is correct ( I've had some that were not right and they were just a hassle). Gave our other wood racks away over time because I found them just to be more of a hassle ansd was frustrated every time I went to get wood off of them. This is our 4th Woodhaven rack as I finally replaced our last "inferior" wood rack. They are a little pricey but for be it was worth it because we burn so much wood and constantly have to interface with our wood racks. We have a 5-ft, 8-ft, and two 12-ft racks. They are all equally good. We just use the different sizes in different spaces where they fit nicely around the house.

We absolutely love this log rack. Have had others in the past and none compare with the sturdiness of this one. Also love the cover that covers only the top couple rows of logs, so air can easily get to the lower levels, while the top levels are kept dry. As remove wood, just slide the cover down as the pile gets shorter. Excellent design, easy to assemble, and again, VERY sturdy.

I was hesitant to spend north of $200 on this product. It was clear upon bringing in the box that this is a quality product. Very solid construction. The firewood is set several inches above ground. The cover is perfect - it does not cover the entire stack, but allows the firewood to "season" while providing shelter of the first several rows to prevent the wood from getting soaked. I can tell this product will last a very long time.As an added bonus, it actually looks nice in the yard.

Hello Fellow Amazonians,Have had this rack a couple months now and got it loaded out with a wood order, so will leave a review.This is a good rack. It is well made with heavy duty steel members, assembles easily, and is stable when the legs are properly set---as the instructions make clear---on a level, paved surface. I used leftover concrete pavers from a previous patio install and a level to ,make use it was plumb side-to-side and front-to-back.I ordered a half cord of 22" oak from a building supply outfit. All of the wood fit readily on the rack. I left the cover off for now as it won't really work with the wood stacked to the top of the side vertical rack members. As I burn off wood, I will be able to put it back on. It is easy to put on and remove.A note: If wood is cut to shorter lengths, e.g. 16", it would increase the volume a fair bit and will cause the wood to be stacked higher than the edges of the rack.Overall, very happy with this and especially so that it is made in the U.S...sure wish more things were! I am old enough to remember when the quality of items manufactured in the U.S. was top, bar none compared to the disappointing cheap stuff we get from China that falls apart after a short time.Would buy again.

Easy to put together yet very sturdy! The cover is perfect to keep wood dry yet easy to reach for more. Liked it so much I bought a 4’ to put downstairs at the firepit.

The quality of this thing is adequate. Only took a few minutes to assemble. The only problem I have with this is it will not fit a half cord of wood. the dimensions are all to the outside of the unit so you are going to be short 6 to 8 inches in the length and width of actual wood stacking area. It only matters a because that's how you measure a half cord of wood. 4' high 8' long pile of wood does not fit. it's more like 3/4 of a half cord (or face cord if you go 16" deep)... which is dumb.

I feel like I've reviewed this product previously but it bears repeating. We have Two racks from this company, One to hold Wood and one is to stack our propane containers on. We made a shelf to fit on the bottom of the rack to set the containers on. We ordered both with the covers, to protect everything from the rain.Rack is very sturdy, easy to place against the shed and house, fits a lot of wood and containers, and hardware included was sufficient. We lifted the racks in place so, I'm not sure about slideability. We bought a larger one for the wood and a smaller one for the propane containers.
