Performance Dooly is 31 Lighter and More Aggressive Woodys new Slim Jim Dooly. The original Dooly was designed to reduce the front skis jerking as they hunted for the track of the snowmobiles that had gone before. This reduction in front end darting allowed you to regain confidence in your riding abilities because you could trust your front end control traction. Assertive riders need to be able to read traction as they maneuver through changing trail configurations and ground conditions. The new Slim Jim Dooly embodies the antidart and adds superb cornering control. The Slim Jim enhanced cornering capabilities allow you to take it to the edge of traction and feel comfortable enough to bring it there and back when and if you want to. That level of riding can only be achieved by those who are able to trust their traction. The Slim Jim Dooly is available in 4", 6" and 8" of 60 degree turning carbide for Arctic Cat, Polaris, SkiDoo and Yamaha snowmobiles through the Woodys runner li

This is my 3rd set on two different sleds. If you drive like you stole it these may not be for you. I drive in touring mode most of the time but get an itch here and there to get sporty. I drive a 2011 Yamaha RS Venture GT and it is a heavy rig. The stock skis seemed really darty and not well controlled. The dealer talked me into the new Yamaha dual keel skis. Even worse results unless you plan on oval racing. I tried all the usual suspension adjustments without satisfactory results. I had put these on my 2013 Ski-doo GSX SE with great results and got a pair for the Venture to try on the stock skis. Wow! What a difference. Darting all but disappeared and steering was much easier while still grabbing enough in the corners while touring. If you are dealing with complaints about how a sled steers (family or customer) you need to try these. I went from 4" carbide to 6" for better wear and a hair more bite. If you ride hard all the time get the 8". If you plan on being on a podium some day, get something else and go somewhere else.

Installed on 2011 Yamaha Venture. Previous carbides were quite work and steering was quite poor. These fit perfectly, installed easily, and appear to be of decent quality. It’s a big sled and it turns on a dime now; great to have control like this.
