It didn't come with instructions, but it looks like good quality, so I ordered an instruction book. Looking forward to learning how to quill.

This is an excellent kit - everything you need to quill is included! Would have been perfect if there had been a manual showing designs & how to use each item included. Perfect for a gift!

The 13 piece kit has everything I need as a beginner. I didn't want to spend a lot in case I didn't enjoy it, and this was a great option. I've made several things and have not had any issues with the quality.

This is a very good kit for beginners. I bought this over over kits because it came with a curling coach, but I ended up not using it. The slotted tools were great for beginner practice, but (1) I didn't need more than one, and (2) over time I got frustrated with the crimp and ended up buying an ultra fine slotted tool. But the UFST was much harder to use, especially with 1/8" thick paper. The tweezers that came with this kit were a nice touch and are the only items from this kit I still use. Still don't regret the purchase, though, because I definitely needed the practice with a thicker slotted tool first.

Granted I bought this almost a year ago, I was finally ready to get into quilling again and realized that when I opened it it didnt come with the needles or the tweezers. That was pretty disappointing.
