.....1) you simply don't care about the quality of the paint job. 2) you are painting an outdoor driveway, existing deck, or home garage floor (as opposed to a "showroom" floor). 3) you are writing an important message on the street. If you do care about quality, then pay a little bit more and get these, which is a great value in my opinion.

The 18 inch rollers cut painting time in half. The only downside is that many walls aren't perfectly flat (they have a slight bow in the sheet rock) so you have to watch what you've rolled !!!

These rollers shed a lot. If you can imagine how irritating it is to have fuzz stuck all over the paint (especially in high ceilings), then you know you should buy higher-quality rollers. Lesson learned
