I emailed Wooster to get their recommendation on a roller to use with spar urethane. The urethane was oil based and I thinned to 10% with mineral spirits, I was going to buy a lambskin roller, but followed their recommendation glad I did, the finish went on flawlessly, saved me from spraying and using a brush,I also bought the wooster roller frame- wow super nice, I have always had trouble with a roller stayin put on the roller frame- but not with this on- its a keeper

These are easily my favorite rollers out of what I’ve tried. Much, much better than any of the ones that come in those wall paint kits. I have no professional experience or insight, I’m just someone who has painted a few walls before, but these have given me the smoothest finish so far. No weird globby areas or bumpy paint finish, just smooth, clean color. Deposits paint fairly evenly from what I could tell. If you’re going to paint a room and want it to look nice, these are great and well worth the extra cost.

I absolutely love these micro plush rollers. I've tried different types of rollers prior to using these and they're the only one's that I found to give me a smoother finish on the wall. Love them.

Used these rollers when painting several rooms in our home. I like the relatively smooth texture these leave on wall and allows paint to finish leveling. The only issue is that occassionally you get a piece of lintel on the wall, so you are constantly looking for one as you paint.

Although these rollers fit perfectly over the open end of common 9.5" Wooster Sherlock frames, i.e. the frames found at every big box store I've ever encountered, they will NOT fit over the locking fingers that hold the roller on the frame. How is that even possible? The fact that the rollers are only 9" long, not 9.5" long to match common Wooster Sherlock and other brands of frames, is another annoyance.

It will fit the american version of Wooster Sherlock frame, not the the UK version that is 1.75".

So I've got a 9 inch wooster roller frame and I have used the wooster microfiber in the 6 inch and 4.5 inch absolutely love them so decided to get the 9 inch microfiber and it doesn't fit on my frame, with them both being wooster I obviously thought straight fit but no the diameter of the roller sleeves is smaller than the diameter of the frame cage
