Needed a set of vise grips with curved jaws to hold a pipe. These work great. The colorful sleeves on the handles make them easy to find in my tool bag. 5-Stars

You get what you pay for.They hold up for most normal jobs. Tightening, loosening, etc. Anything that requires some serious torque, however, should be avoided as the tool itself may start bending. (By serious torque, I mean by hand, not with a cheat bar or any power tools)The locking works great too, but again, ensure you aren't setting the lock too tight as the material won't handle severe pressure/torque.It's a good cheap set to have for piping and other jobs that won't require a ton of torque input.I recommend them, but understand that they aren't top quality. Use for normal/easy jobs and projects.

Nice set of locking pliers. Obviously not as tough as actual VG's but you're getting this whole set for less than one 'name brand' tool,and if you're buying a whole set of tools from here instead of exactly what you don't already have in your box, you're probably not going to use them enough to notice the difference.

Be wary of any excessive play in the pivot points - in the construction of hand tools. This can result in mis-alignment at the Jaw tips of the tool. Applies to pliers, long nose, vice grips etc etc. In this case, not too bad.
