Got this hose to extend the one on my Ryobi 6 gallon ONE+ shop vac, specifically for overhead work. The fit is perfect, and SO FAR, it seems to be every bit as durable as the original hose. The only different is that this hose is a little more stiff than the OEM hose, so for easier use, I attach this one directly to the vac for the extra length and then attach the OEM hose to this one because its better flexibility makes moving attachments around much easier. A great addition to the Ryobi 6 gallon ONE+ shop vac,

Costco shop vac came with garbage hose. This one is much better for a good price. One star ding cus it is a bit stiff but still useable. Great suck.

I have a Porter Cable shop-type vacuum Model PCX18301-48/8210402 - don't recall where or when we bought it - Costco maybe? I magnified the images of this connecting sleeve and the cleaning device adapter. The little "bump" on the business end of the thumb tab for attaching and help lock the hose to the vacuum is on the bottom of the tab on this replacment hose. I'm assuming there must be small rim to catch it on other vacuums, but not mine. My OEM hose sleeve has the bump on the top of the tab that catches a bridge of plastic on top of the slot where the thumb tab inserts. I figured it might not work, but ordered it anyway to try it out. FORTUNATELY...the tab on the replacement hose fits perfectly into the tab slot, and sleeve overall fits very snuggly. I tested the vacuum with this replacement hose and pulled it on its wheels in a number of directions, including straight, and the hose and hose sleeve held firm. I also inserted the hose into the outfollow port, to use it as a blower, and that also fit snugly, though I had to rotate the sleeve a bit to spot where it would insert all the way. ALSO, importantly, the replacement hose diameter is much larger then the OEM hose, but the adaptor for the tools also works perfectly. I simply put the provided adaptor on the end of the vacuum hose and attached my usual floor vacuum attachment, suction wand attachments, etc. Still stunned that it all works...

2 out of the 3 items included with this package are the stated 1-7/8" size and are useful. The third item is a 2-1/2" hose coupler and is completely useless for a 1-7/8" sized vacuum cleaner.

I needed the extra hose to build a dust collector for my shop. I will be purchasing another hose.
