I bought the Dewalt dust separator, you can connect it with 2.5 inch hoses. So I bought this hose to hook it up, it has a few different fittings with it, and it fits perfectly. It is high-quality hose that I am confident will last for many years. It came with more fittings than I need, but I’ll just put those in a drawer somewhere and who knows, maybe I will use them one day. This is good quality hose at a good price.

is anything quite so frustrating as a lack of actual dimensions? For instance, the manufacturer calls this a 2-1/2 inch hose, but there is NO PART of it that actually measures 2.50". Maybe that's an industry "nominal" size (like "two by four" or "half-inch pipe"), but it's useless when you're trying to figure out if it's compatible with your equipment. I hope the following information helps. The hose is corrugated, about 1.96" ID and 2.33" OD except at the ends, where it's made larger to match the barbed press-in adaptors. Four adaptors are included: Two identical plain adaptors, one of which is pre-installed into the hose, and two others with latches (one red, one black). The non-barbed end of the plain adaptor has a mating area 1.85" long, tapering from 2.28" to 2.26" OD. The ID is 2.09".The mating area of the black-latch adaptor is 1.33" long, tapering from 2.29" to 2.27" OD. The ID is 2.15".The mating area of the red-latch adaptor is 1.0" long with 2.63" OD molded rings and 2.29" ID.The good news for me is that the plain adaptor is a perfect fit in the suction port of my Fein Turbo II dust collector. There's no twist-lock feature as with the Fein OEM hose, but the friction fit is plenty secure. I installed the second plain adaptor on the other hose end, and it's a light friction fit in the outlet of my ancient Ryobi BT3000 table saw.I also noted that the black-latch adaptor fits my Ryobi P770 6-gallon portable vacuum, and it's actually far more secure than the OEM hose. However, having already pressed in the plain adaptor, I consider it to be non-removable because the barbs are such a tight fit in the hose. I'd guess I'd have to buy a second hose for this purpose.

Just what I needed to continue using my 20-year-old 5HP Rigid shop vac after the OG hoses had worn out! Not impressed with the flimsy feel and design (H/W/L/HP)) of newer shop vacs vs. my old beefy dinosaur so these new parts will let me continue to save a money and get the jobs done.

The hose is the standard diameter and a good length but this is not a generic hose. It has fittings on the end to adapt to various vacuums but if yours are damaged or missing you're out of luck unless the 3 types included match yours. I used an included adapter plus my original Shop Vac vacuum hose connector and it worked fine. It's a good heavy duty hose.

It fits our older shop vac. Accidentally threw the hose attachment when our house was ruined and needed replaced. So happy this worked. Hose is very heavy-duty so worth buying with hose and extras then the separate peice.

The you have a lot of wood chips coming fast the big hose works very well comes with a few ends seems to fit all the tools I have. still use a little duck tape just to make sure it stays on.

I have an old Dirt Hound 16 gallons Wet-Dry vacuum bought in 2007. My hose had to be replaced. I tried the hose from Emerson Vacuum since it looked the same. Guess What, it does !!! Dirt Hound part number was HT2520 and Emerson part number is WS-25020 so basicaly the same. Thanks to Emerson for keeping the same hose standard than their predecessor. Two thumbs up

It fits perfectly on my Stanley shop vac and CNC dust shoe. The head without the clips fit well, but I went with the one with the black clip, just in case it wants to rotate. Note that the clip will fit into the slot but it won't lock.Picture 5: Workshop left hose, Stanley right hose for comparison (Stanley clip lock upwards which is why the Workshop one won't lock but it is snug enough)
