I do a lot of wood working for fun projects at home and I build obstacles for horse training. I was toggling between a jig saw to cut shapes and my skil saw to cut longer straighter edges from plywood and to cut through lumber. I saw the rotorazer and thought that was what I needed but didn't pull the trigger because of the price. After more research I came across this handy little saw and found it a better fit for me because of the light weight and the smaller grip. After looking at all the reviews I ordered it and haven't looked back! This is a great tool and exactly what I needed, fits smaller hands, cuts through 2x4 posts without much slowing down, and it's easy to operate with one hand. Absolutely love it. I'm so glad I didn't go with the rotorazer that is way heavier and larger than this Worx saw which is plenty for what I do and a great value for the price.

This is an awesome little saw with everything you need to get straight cuts with ease. I am a petite, female, 5'2", 115lbs and do much of my own refurbishing of condo and furniture. I had a jigsaw, some handsaws that would cut butter but needed that 'extra' oomph that you get from a circular saw. However, I had broken my left wrist long ago, then have carpal tunnel on right wrist which can make it difficult after a while due to angle needed to be held. This saw seemed to be of the right size enabling easy cutting through lumber I use. It's got a smaller blade 4.5" and weight is lite but what I realized right away was the handle was straight. That might sound strange but I'd been looking for one precisely made as well as this one WITH a handle that could be folded to an angle or left straight. Having a handle that can be set to an angle makes it much easier for tired or aching joints to hold easier. Just my own experience, having very small wrists as well. The saw itself, is great, has everything you need to last years, just make sure to buy the proper saw blades for your project! Sorry I had to search again.

I didn't want a full-sized circular saw, as I am mostly dealing with 3/4" material and only occasionally anything thicker. The grip is nicely sized for my rather small hands, and the weight is fairly well balanced. The safety switch is awkwardly-placed.

Love this little tool! I am a woman who likes DIY. I don’t feel very comfortable using my big heavy circular saw. This is perfect! It’s lightweight and easy to handle. I am replacing deck boards and this gives the accuracy and enough cutting depth to easily cut out deck boards. It is so easy to operate, my neighbor ladies are borrowing it for its ease of use and control as well.

I work with 1/16†thin woods in my laser projects and find that the larger circular or jig saws tear up the wood when I am cutting out the individual squares to laser. I was leery that this compact saw would be better, but I was tired of having to manually cut out my pieces. The saw comes with a blade with 24 teeth, so I bought an additional blade with 40 teeth to do finer cuts. Since my wood is so thin, I use a work table that has two pieces of wood with a gap in the middle, anchor the wood, and cut down the middle through the gap. From the very first cut, this saw has worked perfectly - it cuts a straight cut with no chipping or tearing of the wood - either for rip or cross cuts. I love it. I also have used it to cut a 1x4 board - again worked perfectly. It is fairly light weight and easy to hold and work. So glad I found this one.

This is my second one, I saw the price and couldn’t pass it up. Very nice work saw. It’s my first pick when cutting anything. The only thing is the arbor size, at 5/8, is difficult to find blades for.

I think mine was a previous return, because it didn't come with instructions or the Allen wrench. Grr. I thought I had it set up right, but it went half an inch into the 1"x8" and stopped dead. After trying a few more times, and then swearing for a while, I remembered that this saw actually has good ratings. So I came inside to google if there's a torque knob or something. So here's what I learned: If you're not getting enough power, the blade probably isn't tight enough. Luckily, I have a set of Allen wrenches (thanks, Dad). When you tighten the screw through the blade, press and *hold* the red button on the back of the saw, which will lock the apparatus in place. It's lefty-tighty, right-loosey for some reason (the opposite of normal) so hold the red button and tighten the screw to the left with the Allen wrench until it's really locked on. Presuming I'm talking mostly to other women, here, who aren't going to go nuts and crack anything. Don't go all Hulk Torque! on it, but you want it to be tight enough to really hold the blade. After I got that fixed, it worked beautifully. (And if the instructions had been included in the box, I probably wouldn't have needed help.) I'm doing repairs outside, and it's sooooo much faster than a hand saw, especially with 8" wide boards in the Florida summer heat. Perfect weight, too. Not sure how I lived without it.

Very good tool to have when cutting smaller or thin wood. Feed slow and it will cut good. No issues with the safety switch. Printed a dust connector for hooking it up to a small shop vac.

I actually haven't used it yet because I have never used anything like this before in my life so I had my boyfriend try it out first. It's nimble, easy to use, basic to set up with simple steps, lots of safety features and it's not too heavy. With a little closer direction and I couldn't probably easily start using it myself confidently. I have quite a few little projects in mind for this little guy. Only downside is I was hoping to get/looking for a wireless saw. Idk where I messed up or how I missed it but this saw is not wireless. It's a little annoying because I only have one outlet outside in an area that isn't ideal for this kind of thing, but that's not the saw's fault and I should have looked closer before buying it. I'm sure with an extension cord and careful practice and it'll be fine.

Good product. Need a strong hand though. Highly recommend. Very few of these handy circular saws available in India.
