Three compartments, 1 long in the back and 2 In front each a half of the long one. This replaced an older wood one which was the same size. The rattan is a nice look.

My husband and I actually use this to store our MacBooks while they're charging. We have a random overhang of bar countertop where it fits perfectly, and we don't have to worry about the basket tipping off the counter randomly. It fills the odd space on our counter, as well. Looks nice and feels and looks like good quality basket.
