I bought this to replace the broken one from my Whirlpool Duet washer. It fits perfect. Take about 15 minutes to replace. It has been working well since i got it. Cheaper than buying a new washer.

My washer would not pump the water out, I cleaned the filter and then tried again with the same result.Without much time left to order and still get it within two days (the washer gets lots of use in my house) I found this one for like $27 and ordered it. When it arrived I could tell right off the foot mount was different.Not willing to send it back and wait for another one that fit I made some modifications that made it work.Although it said it would fit my washer when I go back and look at the picture it is clearly different than the one I was replacing so I guess I could also share some of the blame. Either way, it is fixed, it works well and is nice and quiet.

My old pump started making noise then quit pumping. The replacement works great and is silent.Helpful hint: Use a wet vac on the washer drain hose to empty system before removing the old pump

Even with the 4th of July holiday, we still received this super quick. Installation was fairly simple. Everything hooked back up the same way it came off. I've run a few loads of laundry already and the pump works like a champ.

I am not a particularly handy person, but with the advent of YouTube and the impossibility of even trying to fix electronics, I was determined to fix this washer. Of course I started out by replacing the control panel because the symptom was the washer stopping mid-cycle and all the lights flashing. But that wasn't it.Anyway, I eventually determined it was the water pump (because the water was backing up, duh) and found this part by searching on the washer model, and bingo. Works like a charm.The only challenges I ran into was realizing that it bolts to the floor from underneath (it's not just the sticky foam holding it in place and that getting a tight hose to slip on far enough for the clamps to work takes some effort. But so worth it!
