This ruler made it so simple to cut the Dresden plate pieces. It’s sturdy like the straight rulers, so you can use a rotary cutter to cut many pieces quickly. It would have been very tedious and prone to error with a regular ruler, because of the angles, or using a paper template.I will be looking for more shapes to make the cutting phase easier for my teenage quilter.

It is perfect for cutting out pieces for the Dresden Plate pattern. Assembly of the "circle" was perfect. This ruler has different sized markings making it useful for various sized plates. I love it!!!!

This template is more than just a dresden for me - its my mini ruler/straight edge when i am working out my patterns on the go because it fits in my small purse with ease. It's a wonderful 18 degree angle for my crazy seasonal Fold-n-Stitch candle wreaths i make for gifts, out of all my templates this one is never put away and is always within hands reach. A must have for any quilter/crafter.

I always have scraps of fabric in the house. I wanted to try to to make a tumbler pattern table runner. The piece was easy to use and I used up a lot of fabric. I’d like to make a quilt using this template having the tumbler design be vertical.
