It's useful as a third hand but it is far too sloppy as a running aid. I found it useful for holding my phone when wearing thick gloves

Some of my workout gear doesn't have pockets. I like keeping ny cellphone handy for the pedometer to count my steps during exercise and also to use my phone's music apps. This wrist phone holder helps me do both of these.My cell phone fits easily into the stretchy webbing. It fits with or without the case on my cell phone. I will say that my phone in it's case has more of a weighted feeling to it than without the case, so it feels like I'm wearing a weight.The phone feels secure in the holder. The webbing rotates to whatever angle you choose. It's a good substitute for pockets.
