I'm a bit of a nut for pens, and I like Bible highlighters in particular. I have many Bibles, and like a lot of choices in my highlighter collection. These Bible highlighters and pens from Writech are a very suitable set. They are good for beginner readers and students who don't want to spend a lot. First, I really like the colors. They come in a dark pastel palette, and they include not just one, but three matching regular black ink pens so you can write notes in the margins. Each highlighter has the Bible verse of Philippians 4:5 written on them and have a range of one-word meanings, such as hope, love, faith, trust and bless. The black ink pens don't have the Bible verse but do have either faith, hope and grace respectively. The design of the highlighters includes a transparent plastic attachment making it suitable to carry in pockets or on the side of a spiral notebook. They don't have lids but have click action at the bottom, and a round opening at the top where the biased felt tip comes out. This will allow them to dry out faster because they leave the inner tip exposed when not in use. The black ink pens are designed like regular click action pens with the ball point tip protected by a plastic transparent cone shaped top. I had to be careful how much highlighter ink I applied to the page if I wanted to make the line darker. On scritta paper in thin papered Bibles, it caused the page to wrinkle, but there was almost no bleed through on the other side of the page. If the words were highlighted just once, the wrinkling was minimal and there was no bleed through as advertised. I'd recommend buying this set if you want something less expensive.

These are great for highlighting and annotating your Bible! I was a bit worried when I used the highlighters because, at first it looks as though it's bled through the page alot, but once it fully dries you can barely see it on the other side. They also don't smudge the text at all. This is in my opinion an overall great product and I would definitely recommend purchasing!

Good set of light, pastel highlighters perfect for annotating in your books or your Bible. Has coordinating ink pens (black ink, not colors). Highlighters and pens both work smoothly. Only thing that would make them better is if there were a different scripture on each pen, but overall a nice set.
