So I got this for wearing under my bicycle helmet in winter. Have not really had a chance to use it much, but it seems like it would be good for that purpose. I would not wear it without another covering over top, it is pretty thin. However, for my purpose it does the job.

No body believes me when I say I am not riding my motorcycle because it is cold. After all I live in Texas. But for the last few years we have had some freezing weather that lasts two or three weeks. And yes it is too cold to ride without a Balaclava.

I like how this short balaclava look and it comes useful when is not too cold outside. However, the elastic material is very loose and does not really compress agains your head, which means it will easily slide down when putting on the helmet. The material is not very breathable and excessively stretchy. I feel it will become too loose after a few wears. Would not recommend, specially if you have small head as it will too loose.

This meets my needs and is very comfortable and breaths great as opposed to my knit one years ago.It is also very reasonable cost for the what your getting.
