Really, why is there only one? It's great to replace a one in a broken set or something, but I feel like two is better. But that was my own fault for not reading there was only one, lol. This poi is really nice, it's soft to the touch and doesn't hurt if you accidentally hit yourself. It's good for learning. I'm still learning so I can't tell you how the swivel works (as in, does it work well? I think so, but I don't know any better.) or if you can attach ribbons/etc properly- it seems like it.

This is one single poi on a leash, not a set of two. There is a pretty big loop attached to the ball (which is fairly hard, like they covered a handball with velvet) and I question the ability to attach a veil or flag to such a large loop, or even the necessity of the loop, as veil poi usually attach the fabric over and around the ball, but I guess this would work.I'm not used to poi on this kind of a leash, but it didn't take long to get used to it. The swivel mechanism is around the ball rather than the leash hand-hold, so I question how easily this would tangle. The swivel itself is made up of wires with several connections (not my favorite. The more moving and connected parts, the more opportunity for the poi to catch on the leashes, or the veil if you're doing veil poi.So, it's not my favorite leash setup, and a harder poi ball than what I'm used to, but overall, it is exactly as the listing describes, and would probably work great as practice poi.
