I have a kitty who sometimes pees on the bed when he is upset, an older dog with some incontinence issues, and a wool-filled duvet insert that I love -- a bad combination! So I went looking for waterproof duvet covers, and found two options.The one from a different brand was more lightweight and comfortable than this one, but didn't hold up under the first wash, even when following the instructions. This one is thicker, more durable, but it is heavier and warmer. That isn't a huge issue now that it is cooler, and I did get used to the added weight, but it's something to keep in mind. It IS waterproof, fits my queen sized duvet just fine, has strong strings for securing the duvet and the zipper seems sturdy. Also held up to a couple of washes so far. I ended up buying a second one so I'd be able to put a new one on while the other is washing.

Tried numerous duvet covers as we have 6 chihuahuas and THIS IS THE ONE! Don’t think, JUST GET ONE and try it!!! Make sure you tie the duvet to the cover to inhibit balling of the duvet. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!
