Well I liked the fact that it fit me without only 1/2 of strap left when it's tight around my waist. I have two other harnesses that are just barely large enough to fit and the cost me three times as much. For some reason it seems that harness manufacturers think everyone has a 32 to a 36 inch waist. I have a 47 inch waist and when this harness tight there is about 6 inches sticking out of the buckle. I do have to say that the leg loops are a bit larger than they need be. When tight there is about a foot too much strap. I will probably shorten those straps and melt the ends. I used it to climb a tree. It was comfortable, worked well and offered good support. I know that there are better harnesses available if you want to pay more money and have to have the best however as a climber who only climbs a few times a year this will be my go to harness. I am looking forward to using it on a wall near my home. I read bad reviews about the harness. I figure those people work for a company who make expensive harnesses and degrade any harness so you buy one of theirs.

I bought this X XBEN climbing harness for my husband not exactly to do tock climbing, but for him to do a roof on a house he is remodeling, hasn't been able to really use it cause the weather hasn't been good to do a new roof, but I think i made a good decision getting this harness is very reliable, great craftsmanship and high-quality materials, also durability and comfort, versatile enough to be used indoors or outdoorsExtremely affordable for such a lightweight harness, snug enough, leg loops are comfortable and not super tight. Unfortunately, as others mentioned, straps loosens it self around waist and thighs. I decided to keep it by adding work belt suspender to keep it from sliding down body. Just need to retighten straps once in awhile, but would not recommend if using for long periods. I do not put all my weight on it, only to assist with balance on ladder/ tree trimming. You may want to consider spending more for buckled type verses this slide type.

I've never climbed in a tree before. I've done a lot of rock climbing, and used safety harnesses in many other applications (construction on roof, heavy machinery). I purchased this with plans to cut some limbs I couldn't access w/ a ladder or extension pole. This harness is well made, and - from what I see - great for arborists. The side loops are great for attaching a flip line. It also has great utility loops to hook your chainsaw, gloves, and other accessories too. It's heavy-duty, but still comfortable.

Ich habe die X XBEN Klettergurte als Produkttest erhalten, meine Bewertung ist unbeeinflusst.Die "X XBEN Klettergurte" kamen in ihrem Aufbewahrungsbeutel bei mir an. Der Klettergurt sieht materialmäßig stabil aus und fassen sich robust an. Die Nähte sind aufwändig stark verarbeitet, jedoch sehr ungleich vernäht. Sie erfüllen voll ihren Zweck. Den Klettergurt konnte ich leicht, wie eine Hose anziehen und er ließ sich an den wichtigen Stellen durch die Einsteller strammziehen. Ich habe das Empfinden, dass dieser Klettergurt mich im Fall eines Sturzes sicher auffängt. Zum Reinigen habe ich den Gurt ausgeschüttelt, um ihn vom staub zu säubern. Sehr gerne empfehle ich diesen Klettergurt weiter.Zusammenfassung:Material ist top.Verarbeitung ist top.Funktion ist top.

Gut, eine Anleitung für dieses Teil war zwar nicht dabei, aber hier auf den Fotos läßt sich recht gut erkennen, wie man dieses Teil anzulegen hat.Den Härtetest konnte ich leider noch nicht durchführen, werde ich aber im Laufe des Sommer nachholen und würde hier wieder berichten, falls es etwas zu berichten gibt.Ansonsten macht das Teil einen sehr robusten und hochwertigen Eindruck und für den fairen Preis kann man sich echt nicht beschweren.Wer einen solchen Gurt sucht, beommt hier eine gute Qualität, ich würde ihn jedenfalls jederzeit wieder bestellen.

Meine dachrinne war kaputt und die Dachdecker nehmen entweder 1 Horror Preis oder sind erstmal über Monate hin aus ausgelastet. Aus diesem Grund musste ich wohl oder übel die Reparatur selber vornehmen. Zwar wurde die Arbeit mit zwei Mann erledigt aber eine Sicherung musste trotzdem her. Diesem Grunde habe ich mich nach einem Klettergurt umgesehen. Meine Wahl fiel nun auf den Klettergurt von X Xben.Der Gurt kam gut verpackt bei mir an und wurde sofort einer gründlichen optische Durchsicht unterzogen. Äußerliche Fehler waren hier nicht zu erkennen. Alle Nähte waren sauber verarbeitet. Auch die Metallringe waren nicht scharfkantig.Allerdings war ich doch sehr enttäuscht den auf den produktfotos war dieser Klettergurt gepolstert. Der gelieferte Gurt war aber nicht gepolstert. Das geht in meinen Augen gar nicht und ist eine falsche Produktbeschreibung.So ganz ohne Test wollte ich allerdings mich nicht in den Gurt begeben also haben wir vorher einen Test Dummy von ca. 85 kg gebaut und damit getestet. Wir haben den Dummy ruckartig von einem Gerüst geworfen und er musste eine fallhöhe von ca. anderthalb aushalten.Dies hat er problemlos gemeistert. Eine genauere durchsicht des Gurtes ergab keine offensichtlichen Schäden.Somit habe ich dann den Gurt persönlich benutzt und meine Regenrinne repariert. Der Tragekomfort ist anfangs etwas Gewöhnungsbedürftig, aber wenn man einmal am Arbeiten ist dann fällt einem das gar nicht mehr so auf. Ich musste den Gurt an mir selber nicht testen. Also kein Falltest.Ich würde mir diesen Gurt auf jeden Fall nicht noch mal bestellen da er nicht gepolstert ist.Wegen dem fehlenden Polster gibt es 2 Sterne Abzug.
