Nice fit on my 2016 Ford Transit 350 Wagon w/ Medium Roof. Fine mesh is great to prevent the smallest bugs (noseeums) from getting in. Magnets sewed into the hem all the around the door stick perfectly and allow you to work around your van door’s bits and parts to make a tight seal. It’s lightweight screen that seems durable and feels nice on your skin as you enter and exit through the slit in the middle, which also closes with magnets. We don’t camp in our van, but we often go to the high country to picnic and hang out for the day and the kids like to nap in the van — this screen will allow us to keep the van open and cool while they nap or eat inside. It was super easy to install, tool less than 5 minutes. The value is good too; I couldn’t make this, let alone buy all the materials, for less.UPDATE: Also fits the back of my van! I was curious, so I tried it over the barn door opening in the back of my van, and it actually fit pretty well. It could be nice if it were about 6-inches longer so it hung all the way to the bumper, but I can make it work in a pinch … and I’ll probably order the longer one for the back door opening sometime too, so we can keep all the doors open.

I actually ordered the screen made for the middle door to use on the rear door of my 2002 high-roof Sprinter because the measurements seemed to be closer to the size of the opening. The advertised measurements were just barely enough to fit the rear so I expected to have a very stretched fit and possibly have it not even fit at all. I was pleasantly surprised to find that these screens are made to drape rather than be completely tight like a lot of other magnetic/velcro screens, and it fit my rear door with no stretch at all. Keep this in mind when you order though because if you're looking for a tight/flat fit, these will probably not be what you want.Mounting is straightforward and takes just a couple minutes. The magnets are pretty strong and are spaced well so you don't get large sagging gaps between attachment points. The same magnets seem to be used for the center opening and they hold closed fairly well. One drawback to the design of this screen is that you have to use 2 hands to open it because it hangs loosely and you don't have the stretched tension to just pop your hand through the middle and pull to the side.The material itself is soft and tightly woven so I don't see the chance of any bugs getting through it. The screen is on the thin side though, so I wonder about it's longevity and durability. I'm also worried that my dog may barrel through it and destroy it without much effort. Also, because the screen is so thin and light, wind seems to easily blow the unattached bottom in and out of the doorway. I wish there were some magnets (or at least some weights) in the bottom to keep it in place better. I may make my own.Is it worth the price? Yes and no. Materials, tools, and my time would cost much more if I were to make this, but the light weight material leaves me wanting something more substantial. It is definitely at a price point where you could get it to try it out and use it until it's ripped without breaking the bank too much.

This is a review of the XCBYT Van Bug Screen Van Life Essentials Universal Size Van Window Covers with Magnetic Closure Car Window Screen for Mid/High Mercedes Sprinter and Other Camper Van Sliding Doors (Large) Size: VAN-83*59-Large side doorThis is a great fit for our Sprinter side door. Installation is a 5 minute endeaver for most, but on ours we needed to pull away the plastic for the B-pillar (behind the passenger seat)to put the magnets and fabric behind to get at any metal for the forward side but there was plenty of metal to stick it to on the top and rear side. So, it took a little longer.It is a very lightweight feeling fabric which is nice - some of these screens really have too much heft to them and they feel more like doors than screen doors. The magnets are quite small - some of these screens use larger magnets and it makes them klunky. The mech is very fine, great for keeping out all of the bugs.It also just gives you some additional privacy - people are less reluctant to come up to your van when you are parked, etc. if there is a screen and it's much harder to just causally see inside when walking by which is great. So great even if you are in a place that is not that buggy.Plenty long enough to just lay in the step to keep the bugs out and it opens and recloses easily, if somewhat aggressively.The custom fit screens from the van accessory suppliers are ridiculously expensive so this is a great option and much better value.

When you live in a van (especially with all the animals I do) you need airflow. But when you’re visiting the south bugs are disgustingly everywhere. Bugs I never even knew existed have been harassing me and my dogs - luckily the cat is seeming safe- and this net is a beautiful solution. It’s easy to put up, my doors are definitely smaller than the fancy vans most people have but the extra length easily just hangs below the door when it’s open and tucks up when the door is shut. All the magnets stick well and the closure is easy to slide open and get through and closes itself when you let go. I also enjoy using them to stick to the sides if I want the net open like cute curtains and to let the dogs in and out easily. Sometimes they pull it down a bit when they get excited to get inside but it’s easy to just put the magnet back in place. Even no see ums can’t get in here I love watching them struggle and collect on the outside instead of being able to eat me.
