This is the only frame I could find on Amazon that would work for my embroidery piece, was the right size, had the perfect border width and is wooden - and a beautiful stain color, too. However, the elastic triangle that's supposed to hold the embroidery piece in is flimsy and the hoop that's holding my piece kept slipping down and exposing a space between it and the frame. I had to hot glue it in several places to secure it. Also, there is no hooks or anything to hang it by, nor is there a stand or anything else on the back to support it for display. I had to acquire & super glue my own picture hooks onto either side on the back of it and attach a wire to them to hang it by. Made a fine gift, but if I buy something I don't want to have to glue on pieces myself just to make it work.

Oval cut out, stained with rubber band to hold on picture. No hanger or stand and nothing to hold picture in place. I made it work, but not very impressed at the quality.

This is a great frame and easy to put your project in. The only thing that would make it better is if it had something in the back that you can use to hang it on the wall. You can add your own to it but just be aware.

I bought a few for frames for my embroidery and gave them as Christmas present. Everyone loved the frames they were easy to use and made the embroidery stand out.
