The neoprene foam is good thickness and will do a great job as a pad underneath my rock tumbler to dampen vibration. I was somewhat disappointed to find it 2.5 inches short of the stated length of 55 inches. I wanted to cut it into 2 lengths of 27 inches and didn't have quite enough.

I used it for a couple things and still have tons left to use elsewhere and I definitely will cause it works beautifully. I made some little gaskets for my truck’s wing to stop it leaking through my tonneau cover into my bed and it worked perfectly, I just cut out some perfect ovals for the wings pedestals and since we’re mechanics I have a healthy supply or permatex ultra gray gasket maker so I smeared a little on one side of each gasket and let it dry then just reinstalled the wing and it squished down flush and sealed perfectly, so flush you cant even tell there’s a gasket under the wing. I also cut some long strips and used some rubber glue to extend the strips I cut and made a gasket for each side of the tonneau cover where the frame of it attaches to the bed rails and it also worked beautifully, I left the truck out in a storm to test if it was gonna leak with it raining cats and dogs and whipping wind back and forth and the next morning not a single drop made it inside. 200% worth the money

Love this neoprene roll! It has so many uses I couldn't decide how to use it at first, but it's cheap enough that I can always get more for more projects. The uses are almost endless. I ended up using this roll to help block some of the noise in my office - I cut rectangles from it and put them behind artwork on the wall that I share with my colleague, since we can hear everything between our offices. I just wanted a little blocking, to help with more private conversations, so I didn't bother to double up the neoprene to start with, but if I decide I need more soundproofing I'll put another layer on so there's 1/2" of neoprene foam. I'm already plotting out what to do with the rest of the roll/future rolls. It's very versatile and useful stuff, especially for project people!
