I had been using packing tape to seal some leaky windows. I thought it would be as good as anything else. It works okay but some air was still leaking and the tape left residue on the glass when removed. I decided to splurge and try something made for the purpose. This seal tape is great. Easier to work with, wide, seals better and no pesky residue on the glass! Oh, also its not shiny so barely visible. Very happy with this product.

I'm using this to seal up some old casement windows in our basement. They've always leaked cold (and hot) air, so I thought I'd try this stuff.It was easy to work with - flexible, sticky (in a good way), easy to cut. I think it took be about 15 minutes to do 4 windows. I noticed an immediate reduction in cold air leaking in (6 degree F day!).These windows don't get opened very often, so it shouldn't be a be deal to leave them taped up all the time. The tape seems to come off of everything cleanly and hasn't pulled any paint or anything off.

Our apartment has really crappy windows, they're those metal ones that don't even seal when they close, you can always feel a draft coming from under them, there's 8 windows in our apartment like this, and our heating costs were threw the roof this winter. Obviously, this is because the heater has to run nonstop because all the heat escapes out the windows so we never get the apartment to a comfortable zone. If this sounds familiar, GET THIS PRODUCT! We needed two 30YD rolls for our windows, but it is super easy to use, same as just taping up anything, you can re-adjust the tape while putting it on as it's really stretchy and has a super strong adhesive, once it's on it stays on, it's a nice thickness, and after taping up 4 of the windows in a corner of our living room, the drafts were gone!! We can walk near our windows now without getting colder, and that's a massive improvement. Even now the last few days the apartment actually heats up in the sun now and retains the heat, instead of ALWAYS being freezing unless the heats on. Save yourself potentially a lot of money on heating and buy this cheap, quick and effect product!

This tape is thick and feels very reassuring.When applied it is very clear and easy. I loved working with this more than any duct tape I've ever used.It's good, has the proper amount of adhesive. Hopefully it lasts long.Edit:I does a good job stopping weather. However moisture is a problem, but it's not plumbers tape so it does have it's limitations. I also leaves behind residue but it needs to be able to stick, so you will have to use goo gone when you remove it. It also easily removes old or cheap paint.You can see in my picture the residue, how clear it can look, and response to moisture.In summery it is good weather tape that will leave a residue and not hold up long term to moisture.

The tape is very strong and adorable, but I had hoped it would be able to release really stick and it did not exceeded my expectations unfortunately but it was not any worse than other products I’ve tried

It was sticky , but sealed the windows perfectly and made a big difference when very cold and windy. I would buy again.

Best bang for your buck that I have seen if you have a leak and need to seal it during the cold winter months or hot summer months. My girlfriend has an older townhouse and the windows leak cold hair during the winter causing her heating bill to skyrocket. I got this tape and taped around all the windows and it helped a ton. It doesn't look the best and is a bit difficult to apply but if you have someone to help you, installing it isn't an issue. The tape is super sticky too. I recommend cleaning the surface before applying it as it may not stick if you don't. It's been on there all winter and is still sticking great. Really good value for the money!

If you don't mind cleaning over where the tape was for 1 hour after removing the tape this is fine. I don't know why but a heavy residue was left and incredibly difficult to clean. This is definitely not why we bought this product. I'm not sure if there are many limitations on how long you can leave the product on for?

It’s really a good quality tape, easy to apply and works perfectly. Since I’ve added on my bedrooms’s windows I can feel the difference, the room keeps its warm.It might be or not best value for money but it worked perfectly for me.
