So far I’ve only used it to read/write a few really old 27-series EPROMs, and it worked fine for those. Had it hooked up to a Windows 11 laptop, and the included software worked without any issues. Software was the typical free no-frills “made-in-Asia” stuff, but worked OK and did what I needed it to do. The one thing that I would like to see changed is that included in the package is a mini-cd - I assume that it contains the software and documentation. Unfortunately, the machine that I’m using with this burner is a laptop that doesn’t have a cd- drive. Fortunately, I was able to find the software, drivers, and a manual online, so I was able to get everything up and running. It would be nice, though, if everything was on a USB thumb drive instead, since fewer and fewer computers (especially laptops…) are coming with a cd-drive. Oh, well, everything seems to be working, so I guess that’s not too much of an issue…
