I have had a lot of assortment kits and products similar to this, but this product is by far and away the most nicely and considerately packaged kit. The plastic organizer has easy-to-read tabs that tell you the bearing size, and the lid has a foam pad to ensure that the balls are kept in place and don’t find their way into the neighboring box. The smaller size bearing balls also are placed in their own cylindrical containers inside each box. No chance of anything going missing, or getting in the wrong spot. The entire container is also shipped in a sealed bag, then in a cardboard box. If you couldn’t tell, I am very impressed with the quality of packaging and level of organization this product provides. The ball bearings themselves are up to my standards, none have any defects, markings, or issues at all. Assuming they are the correct size and are adequately spherical, I have absolutely no complaints. The kit also comes with three small plastic containers of grease. I am thrilled with the quality and attention to detail of this product and its packaging.

These are a welcome addition to my maker space. I had lost a small 2.5mm bearing from a 3D printer gantry. This came with that size and many others that will come in handy with some projects where ball bearings will either nest within printed plastic, or to fix parts where bearings get lost.It comes with some grease and tweezers to help align the ball bearing within the wheels. I’m particularly impressed at the care taken to design the box these came in. Each compartment has a red tag to help you quickly identify the bearings within that slot. And the kit looks more like a long-term crafters kit than a temporary contractor’s kit - it’s not cheaply made. I appreciate that for a box of a thousand tiny balls that will serve different crafts over several years.

I’m keeping the smaller balls in the hopes of having extras on hand for missing parts. This set doesn’t take up much space. Finding it when needed should be easy enough as they come in a plastic kit. I mostly got this set because of the larger, 7mm and 8mm balls. There are 20 each of these sizes. I wanted baubles that weren’t glass for playing Mancala. They will perform this function beautifully. I wish they had as many of the larger sizes as the smaller ones. I I also understand that the small size is so much smaller, it’s an easy way to offer a large assortment in a set without making it heavy. I can’t imagine needing that many small balls but it has happened that I’ve lost one from a drawer slide before. Now I’m covered for a quick replacement.

Bought these to set up a prototype toy, a wire raceway for kids to play with. The sizes are exactly as described, which makes it easy to set up a raceway track for the balls to move in.

Well organized case, I really like the little tabs that indicate the size. I REALLY like that all the smallest sizes come in their own small container inside the compartment. It holds securely closed, nothing is in danger of mixing with other sizes.

I was really impressed with the quality of this collection of ball bearings. I use a lot of smaller ball bearings for various laser cut toy projects, and they have to be very precise sizes to work properly. This kit is very well-organized and clearly labelled, so there's no guesswork in identifying which size is which. Even the underside of the lid is lined with a foam materials, guaranteeing that no small bearings 'jump the fence' into it's neighbors compartment. This is a great set - if you need a collection of various-sized ball bearings, this is highly recommended!
