I couldn’t believe how expensive spikes are so when I saw these for a quarter of the price that other ones sell for I figured I give it a try. They are great! They don’t come with any instructions so please be sure to check out some YouTube videos. My biggest mistake was to not tie my shoes to this contraption correctly. So my footing was very loose and therefore quite dangerous. But after I used correct shoes and secured the boot to the spike this product worked fantastic. Beware, I hooked myself incorrectly to the harness in the first picture. But after I figured it all out that tree got cut from the top down piece by piece thanks to these awesome spikes!

Poor poor poor quality product from China. The 2 blue ribbons used to help to tie the spikes down to ur feet, start to frey right out the box. The metal frame in which holds the spikes on and used as lower foot support as well as upper leg support, are all held together to a plastic shin guard like device with plastic zip ties 😮🤔🙄 the guard has a few zip ties holding it onto the metal frame. The guard then has 2 straps built onto it as well. 1 being a elastic velcro strap in the center point. The 2nd one being a fabric material made belt at the top of the guard. Velcro threads rip off in 1st use while the belt strap threads begin to come out. When u use the spikes u notice that blue colored guards begin to so the distressed color change that plastic does. It starts show the breaking/ bending color of white where the zip ties go in. They also have a red stand alone strap that is not connected to the spikes. They are extremely uncomfortable painful when using as well.. save ur money and maybe ur life buy better ones.

Use this to got to the top of my 10+ ft tree , and it worked , but was very uncomfortable ,If you get this to climb trees on the regular bases , I would advise to get some high work boots , I tried using this with regular boots . but it is very odd to try using this . You feel like , the spike boots is going to fell or that you will loose grip on the tree. Other than that it get the job done .

Sturdy product. Pretty good deal, compared to others like it. The straps that came with it (that help to secure the metal to your leg) are basically ribbon and frayed easily. I understand wanting to cut costs, but give me a break! Overall, these work well. You'll just have to get your own straps to make sure the units are secured to your legs/feel well.

I tried climbing a tree with these, and they didn’t have good enough support, so I used extra straps I made (wrapped up entire braces), but they still didn’t feel safe. You get what you pay for.
