Bought this set to use under the bed cover on my GMC Sierra 1500. It was easy to run and I just used the bed lights already installed from factory for my power so I didn’t have to use the provided switch. Love em!

Excellent quality and water resistance. Easy to hide wiring. Surprisingly good stuff for such a low price

These little lites are bright and very customize-able. The only knock, per the subj line, is the instructions. Useless. To summarize, and as others have noted:1. See Bobster's Garage (last 4 star) review for VERY detailed (and GENIUS!) installation instructions. I pulled the exact wiring instruction quote below.*z2. Switch is NOT waterproof!3. Lite string can be broken into sections.4. You will prob have to learn to solder to properly connect these. (Easy. See YouTube videos.)5. If you can't fig out which vehicle wires are +/-, these lites ONLY work one way! So disconnect the vehicle connectors for the wires your gonna use, or expose wire, push the + wire from the lites into one slot (or wire) and the other into the other slot. Liteup? Then you've found + to + and - to -. If NO liteup, reverse the wires. Viola!. You found the post and neg!I wired my truck bed lites to the right license plate lite POS (+)--hot anytime truck lites are on!--and grounded to a truck bolt. Put switch inside bed storage door, covered wires with wire cover from Home Depot. Covered switch with soft plastic piece.Took 2 lites off the string and put in my Prius--attached to rear cargo lite wires--hot only when rear hatch is opened! From Bobster's garage review:"So at this designated switch location you should now have the positive (+) and negative (-) wires from each light strip and the 12 volt power wire (+) and the ground (-) wire that you ran separately. That's a total of 6 wires..... So take the three negative ground (-) wires and connect them to the gold negative terminal on your switch. Take the 12 volt power wire (+) from the fuse box and connect it to the center terminal. Take the remaining 2 positive (+) wires from your light strips and connect them to the last terminal (silver)."(I tried to add pictures, but apparently can not.)

So I bought this product to use as a underbody light kit. I found the fact that it is a pre-wired kit and the overall length to be perfect for lighting under my Ram 1500. The connectors to string the lights to each other don't appear to be weather tight so I did opt to cutting them off and using a heat shrink butt connector to give the peace of mind that no water will cause the lights from not performing as I wanted. The lead wire is a very generous length and made it easy to run it to power and ground. I tapped into an existing stock light so when I turn my cargo light on or when I unlock my truck these lights turn on and light up the ground around my truck. The light output is pretty good, there are brighter products but if this was used for its intended purpose it would be plenty bright enough. The light color is pretty white but does give off a very slight purple hue so it's not a pure white output. Overall, I am very pleased with the purchase and product.

Installed these on a 2016 Ram 1500, equipped with the OEM LED light kit and after the application of an aftermarket spray in liner. I basically tapped these into the OEM lights on the rear of the bed, than ran each string up the side, three to a side. I have a Bakflip MX4 along with the Bakbox 2, and ran the fourth light on each string up to the mounting bracket on each side of the toolbox, so the light shines in there as well. I drilled out the hole on the Xprite LED module a little bit so as to fit a bolt in there to be secured with a nut and a washer...I wanted to be able to remove the light in the event I was dismounting the toolbox. All wires were bundled so as to take up the slack, and secured with zip ties.Rig is very bright, and comes on with the OEM LED lights. The Xprite white lights are not an exact match to the OEM LEDs, but it's not enough to bug me. The Xprite lights appear to stick to the spray in liner just fine even though it is textured. Very nice. I'll be buying more of these.

I bought these led strips to light up the underside of my trailer. They were easy to install and stick onto the chassis. There are also holes to put in screws. The wiring was pretty easy to connect in. Plenty of length on the cables to connect to the switch.

Nice and bright for a truck bed light but do not overtighten if you’re screwing them down. The foam backing allows it to bend if you do and it breaks the connection so all the lights down the line won’t work either. Also the current draw is very small so I wired directly into the 2 factory ram bed lights, so they come on with them and the factory switch. Time will tell about durability though.

Not as bright as I had hoped. Screws are cheap and strip the second they encounter resistance.

I bought these to install with my Rockslide Engineering slider steps. I checked a website selling the steps and they were $67 for 4 strips and I swear they are these lights for sure. These have 8 strips and paid $27. I installed them and they work perfect!! I now have 4 strips for another application on my old YJ . Would buy again and sent link to my neighbor so he can get some too.
