I bought this valve before “diving season†started, so it was about 6 weeks before I took it out of the package and installed it on my tank. It leaked out from under the handle (the black rubber knob you use to open/close the valve and turn the air off/on) right off of the bat. Because it was more than 30 days after it was delivered, it was outside the “return windowâ€. So now I’m stuck with a BAD VALVE that I AM going to have to PAY my local dive shop to REPAIR. Don’t buy this valve from this seller unless you’re going to use it right away, because you might get screwed like I did.

I use a DIN valve regulator. If I ever need to loan a tank to a friend, I just screw the insert back in and someone with a Yoke type regulator can use.
