This mailbox looks nice and is very sturdy. The combination is very useful and much better than needing a key. Instructions are included on how to reset the combination. The slot to drop the mail is thin but it’s worked in our favor because the mail person cannot fit the junk mail into it. So we have been receiving less junk mail. Installation was very easy for us. We just had loads of rain and the mail stayed dry.

The box is secure however the box paint fades so you will have to paint it.

The mail guy opens the box pulling the handle and insert the envelopes in it, then it remains open. second issue: the rain enters to the mail box and not good in that regard. Every time I opened my mail box, all envelopes got wet, bad product. I couldn't return it since the return period passed. What can I do?

Utilize this for storage of paperwork inside a seavan storage container. Screwed it directly into the wall, lock mechanism works perfect and it is nice that my employees can just open the top drawer and put their 8.5 x 11 paperwork into the unit. I'd highly recommend this product.

This mailbox leaks if left outside unprotected in the weather. Also - I've taken the keys to three or four different locksmiths in NYC and nobody can copy them. So there's no way to copy the keys, which basically makes this mailbox worthless to me.

Overall I am really pleased with this post box. It's robust, looks good and appears to do the job. However, whenever it rains, it lets water in which means that the mail gets wet as it puddles in the bottom of the box!! I've tried to see where I can contact the seller but to no avail. I don't want to return it as have had it fitted to the wall by workmen who have now gone. I need professional recommendation to stop the rain getting in!I have to say that I ordered two letterboxes by mistake and there was absolutely no problem returning one of them. It's a real shame about the rain as I would have given five stars as I am otherewise really pleased with it.
