What can I say about this coffee table? What you see is what you get and for what I paid for it, I know this was the best deal in town. The seller shipped early and I received it two days early. This was a big plus for me because I couldn't wait to put it together and replace my existing coffee table. Also, I had asked the seller, the day before it was shipped, If could get the other color (rustic brown) instead of the one I ordered. I never heard back from them but when the table arrived, they had sent me the color I asked for. It was well packaged and easy to extract all individual parts for inventory. Needless to say, nothing was missing and all I had left to hope for was the instructions. I've assembled many pieces of furniture and it can be a nightmare with awful or sometimes missing instruction. This product did not fail in this department. The pieces were clearly marked and the instructions were well written, easy to read, intuitive and an easy to follow set of instructions even my ten year old son could have done it. Plenty of diagrams, pictures, and the required logical instructions.The height is perfect for my new loveseats and couch. I couldn't be much happier with my new coffee table and I highly recommend it. I just can't believe how many people are complaining about how hard it was to assemble. Sure, the instructions weren't perfect but it's a small coffee table for crying out loud. I how could you NOT figure this out. On the last step when drilling in the screws for the top, sit it inside the table and line all the holes. Start on the first one with one hand holding the top and then line up the first screw into the hole. Don't drill it in all the way, about three quarters of the way, then line the next screw and so on. Once you get them all in, start with the first and start screwing them all in. You don't really need two people, just a little talent and common sense.

Definitely not the highest quality coffee table money can buy but it's exactly what I expected for the price. It looks great and it's held up very well, it gets used everyday, from eating, to kids coloring, to being a foot rest and it hasn't shown any wear yet. It was also simple to put together. (YES there is assembly required)

It was a challenge to put together highly recommend having a electric screw driver , there are a lot of screws , took about 2 hours for me and my son to put it together but I love the finished product . Sturdy little table. They also give you extra screws which I liked , we didn't need them but we did have to take the pop up mechanism off because we put it on wrong oops LOL. Love the end result good value for the price

The precision of the hardware to the holes was great and the table went together in under an hour with a little help from my wife to attach the top. Make sure you attach 2 legs 1st and then flip the table over to attach the other legs. Don't attach all 4 legs at the same time since they aren't sturdy enough until they are screwed down. Be advised that the top opens unevenly since it uses struts instead of springs so use 2 hands to open and close the top. It is very sturdy once it is open or closed. The color is more "greige" than gray but it still looks good with gray end tables from another supplier.

This isn't my first rodeo with putting together furniture but this is the most difficult piece I've put together in a very long time. It took me around 3 hours. Some of the screws were kind of difficult to get in. The lift top was a bit difficult to set up with the retractable Pistons.This coffee table is replacing my old lift top coffee table which just got too worn down. I immediately missed my old one.This one is just a little bit too short. When I lift the top it just barely clears the space over my knees when I'm sitting on my couch. If I'm using it for a table I still have to hunch over quite a bit. Also, while my previous lift top coffee table had a seamless lift where I could leave drinks on it and safely lift and lower without changing levels, this one is really wonky. You're going to want to clear everything off the table before you lift it or put it down.I'm not that mad, it was pretty cheap after all. It was a lot of work to get together but I have a nice looking coffee table now, and it does what I need.

1. The color is a warm grey with brown undertones. I love it. If you’re looking for a cool/blue grey, this is not the grey you’re looking for.2. Assembly was actually quite easy if you can follow the pictures (there’s no written instructions, visual only). My only complaint is that there is at least 10 pages for the table, and only 1 for the lift mechanism. When you’re building this and get to the lift top: put the bracket on the underneath of the top FIRST, then attach the mounts to the base table (highly recommended getting a second person for this step) and LAST add the hydraulic rod. The hydraulic rod compresses!! It will be too long to attach to both bolts, because you need to compress it to shorten it.3. Measure the height you need before ordering. It is low compared to other coffee tables I’ve had.4. The table is actually quite solid and the finish is smooth (not textured). The base of the storage area is thinner MDF so not ideal for heavy items.

Love this coffee table! It fits in my small place perfectly. People who see what it does, want one. The storage is so well hidden and I eat at the table every day. The top pulls up easily and closes without an issue. It is the perfect piece of furniture for me and my little apt.

This table arrived on time with all pieces accounted for. Very heavy box which told of it's sturdiness and craftsmanship. Pieces were clearly marked for assembly, however the instruction booklet was not in order creating some confusion when putting it together.Springs on the liftable part of the table are strong and took some work to install, definitely a two person job.Table looks good in our living room and with a lifting top part provides ease of use when snacking in front of the television
