I have purchased a good number of latch hook rugs that have already been designed to follow the color codes. Some designs are easy to follow, other more difficult. This stamped on design was more difficult to follow. It was a bit to busy, in my opinion. I have designed my own christmas tree designs by simply copying an outline on the grill backing. There were times when i decided to break the already colored designed on this backing. However, go for it. Others will enjoy the result whether you change the design or not. One thing I changed was the color of the yarn around the tree. The picture givesthe impression the color is white. The yarn provided for the mesh outlining the tree is grey. I chose to change this to a white yarn. This is an art so go for it. John

Some craft kits are dicey and I hesitate to order - but this one is great and I’m glad I did. Clear instructions and quality materials with a sturdy, attractive box to keep them in while I’m working on the project. The bright yellow yarns of the sunflower are gorgeous! I am not talented at crafts but with this one at least I’m having a good time and eventually my daughter will have a beautiful present that I made for her myself. She loves sunflowers.

When I received my order, I was so pleased. The packaging is so adorable and inviting. When I opened the package I was so excited. Here are the reasons why: 1. A nice note card was given💜. 2. An actual instruction guide with opportunities to reach out for color ?? Or shortages of yarn. I think is so cool ðŸ‘. 3. The organization of the materials in the box. 4. The fact that the yarn bundles are marked with letters is helpful beyond measure and it included a few extra packages of extra yarn colors. I cannot wait to start making this kit. I just finished another hummingbird canvas it did not come with detailed istruction, I was short yarn and it was hard to distinguish the color differences. So with that said "Thank you" Yakoleci for a great product.

This latch hook rug probably would have looked better with a white background. I hadn't realized that the colors were off till I started hooking the creation. I purchased it in the summer cause I was able to pick it up for $9.99 so I brought two and used both for the one rug. You end up with a very thick carpet like product, although for this particular distributer one would probably do. I make it a habit of always hooking two kits together because most other companies yarns are flimsy, and in order to get a nice looking creation you do need the two. The secret is wait till the go on sale for half price then buy the two. Rosie love's it too.🥰
