It was an easy install, adjusted the gap between the Flywheel & Ignition Coil, re-assembled the Mower with the plug hanging out, pulled it over & was happy with the Fat Blue Spark it developed. Plug installed & first pull it started, Happy.

I have a generator with this style coil, a 5.5hp honda knock off. I replaced the coil to chase a no spark issue, still had the issue after adjusting coil all the way in towards the fly wheel. I read up on a few specs, which it needed to be .016 away from the flywheel/magnet plus or minus .008 in either direction. This one was almost 1/4", with no more adjustment in. Noticed this when I reinstalled the old coil. This one is not manufactured with the same parameters, it may look 100% the same, but it doesn't adjust in enough to actually work.

We had an older motor that wouldn't start. Looked like the critters had been chewing on the wires. This was an easy replacement to put in. Motor fired right up.

I have purchased two of these coils for different engines and both have fit and functioned perfectly.The spark plug is a bonus as well as the feeler gauge used to set the coil gap.

Coil was received in 2 pieces. I managed to snap the pieces back together. Coil was then installed and is working so far.
