Aluminum crimping loop sleeves are easy to use, without effort, just lock both ends of the guide wire by vise, pliers or compression tools.
When properly applied, are capable of holding the rated breaking strength of the cable to which they are applied. However, to determine the exact holding strength, recommend pull testing prior to use.

They work as good as those purchased and the big box home stores. They are a better value. For wire such stainless used for guy lines and such make sure you can provide the crimping force needed. I used a hydraulic one.

They come in a tough plastic ziplock bag. Look and perform the same as the 2 for $4.67 at HD. I just ordered more for 1/8" cable.Check into an inexpensive cable ferrule crimper. Yes a ball peen or a blunt chisel will work, but a crimper is easier, looks better, no sharp edges, and holds better.

We were using these to attach cables to reinforce a cheap shed. They seem to work fine and were a fraction of the cost as those we could buy locally

These are simple devices that I use frequently on projects, so cost is important to me. Incredibly to get just six of these from any hardware store will set you back $3.00.These are the same quality I get locally but at a fraction of the price. Do not hesitate to buy these! You will have a large supply but it is worth it. I cannot tell how many time that I had to readjust the length of a cable. Every time that happens, the ferrule is destroyed. Save yourself a headache, buy these in bulk.

I bought a different wire pack that came with a few crimpers but they ran out. These were a perfect substitute.
